We have had 2 polarises and another battery powered cleaner for our pool We have struggled to keep them working and to do a good job. So, we tried this product and it works very well and does things a Polaris doesn't do. This includes a rotary scrubber that works to wipe stuff (light algae) off the walls of the pool. Walls you say? Yes, I have no idea how they do this except maybe through suction from the 2 fan motors... but it climbs straight up walls all the way to the water, breaching the water, then backs back down, scoots over a bit and climbs the wall again, clearing light algae and stuff off the walls. No other product we have does this, unless I manually scrub it with a brush on a pole. It has 3 modes. Wall, bottom and both. 2 Issues: 1) The first thing I noticed is that the filter for trapping debris is not as fine as I would like. There was some DE at the bottom of the pool from overfilling the filter and when the vacuum went over it, you could see it spewing out of intake of the filter meaning it didn't capture it. The Polaris does capture fine DE. 2) We left the battery charger outside when it rained and the charger burned up when we connected it for charging a day or two later. So it's not waterproof, even though you really should be charging the vacuum outside since it's usually wet or will drain water when its moved. Besides those issues, I think this is a very well designed and effective cleaner that really lightens the load of traditional scrubbing the walls to keep it algae free. ... show more

I got this new pool cleaner. It’s a Cordless Robotic Pool Cleaner. it’s made cleaning my pool a lot easier. First off, this pool cleaner is cordless. That means no more dealing with tangled cords or getting stuck on the pool ladder. It’s so freeing to just let it go and not have to worry about the cord getting in the way. The best part is, it has a powerful battery that lasts for long time. It can cover up large pool space, which is pretty impressive. This means it can clean our entire pool in one go without any problems. The cleaning power of this robot is amazing. It can filter out a lot of debris really quickly. It really does a great job of getting every bit of dirt out of the pool. One of the best things about this pool cleaner is how easy it is to maintain. The filter is large and top-loading, so it’s really easy to take out and clean. When it gets dirty, I just pop it out, rinse it with the garden hose, and put it back. THIS IS AWESOME!! Got it for my son who has an inground pool. He charged it up for about 3 hours and put it in his pool. It got hung up when it started to go up the steps but when he got it off the steps it took off. It started cleaning the bottom of his pool and then started climbing up the sides to the waterline and then turned and went down. Once he got it off the step it never tried that again, it figured out to go up the side of the step instead of the treads. He LOVES it. It is very powerful and fun to watch. He had another brand last year and when it got to the 12-foot section it could not get up to the shallow end. This one had no problem. ... show more

Price is good for such machine, anyway the battery takes long to recharge (about 4 hours). the App is useless unless you have your router right next to the pool. I have used it for few days and it does not seem to completely understand the geometry of my pool. but overall it is not bad. hopefully it does not die soon ... show more
