  • Way cheaper than the Dewalt one with better specs
Style: MINI
This blower is actually surprisingly powerful. It is very loud, so hearing protection should be used, but its small size makes it perfect for the workshop, or just light duty blowing. For comparison, the Dewalt specs are 135 MPH/100 CFM, vs this tool's claimed 150 MPH/300 CFM. The 150 MPH is more believable than 300 CFM from this tool, and I am believing it is more like 150 CFM, but I do not have any way to measure it. The body is solid, made from strong plastic, and with the battery in place, has a rather nice balance to it (I used a 3rd party clone battery around 5Ah), The grip has rubber overmolding on it for good traction and some vibration dampening. The trigger though is a bit stiff needing to squeeze a bit hard, and there is a bit of the housing at the bottom of the trigger that is raised and pokes into my finger just a bit, so small hands might have some fatigue. There is a button switch on the side next to the trigger that if held in and the trigger released it will lock the trigger in the on position (press the trigger to release it again) which is a good addition given the trigger draw strength. It comes with a debris bag for when it is used as a vacuum, by moving the tapered nozzle to the air intake on the side, and the bag to the outflow port. Personally, I do not plan to use it as a vacuum as I do not want the debris in side the blower housing like that, but the option is there if wanted. The two stand out negatives I have on this, the first one is actually expected. First, as expected, this blower will quickly drain a battery. In about 10 minutes of use blowing some leaves and dirt off my patio, the battery dropped one of three bars. Granted, it is a 3rd party battery that claims 7Ah but delivers around that of a 5Ah OEM, but it still used a bunch of juice. My 40v Ryobi blower bleeds batteries too, so as I said, it is expected. In the shop it would likely be used now and then for small, quick, tasks, like blowing out sawdust or light debris, so I am not concerned with battery usage. I will say though that even with the fast battery drain, there was no noticable heat buildup in the motor which shows a good quality brushless motor. The second negative, and the one I had to deduct a star for, is the tapered nozzle. The build quality on this tool is really good, except for the nozzle. It is cheap, soft, thin, plastic, and I suspect it will not last very long. It is easily crushed and folded, causing creases, and I do not see a way to buy replacements for it. It would be much better if made from stronger, thicker, plastic. Overall, if you are looking for a small shop blower, and you are on the Dewalt battery platform, I would definitely recommend this one (it is close to $100 cheaper than the lower powered Dewalt one). ... show more

  • A Nice Little Leafblower
Style: PRO
This well made leaf blower is lightweight and very easy to use. It has suitable power to blow leaves and small twigs, making this an excellent value. The blower attaches as intended to a DeWalt-style 20v Max Battery (not included). Recommended!

  • Okay for small jobs
Style: PRO
Product works as intended and takes standard DeWalt batteries with no issues. It does output a good amount of air, but it's definitely more ideal for small amounts of dry leaves. Wet leaves clumped with each other don't always work. This product is probably more appropriate if you're clearing off your deck occasionally, rather than full scale yardwork. It's fairly compact and easy to bring around, but it might be worth getting something a bit more powerful for a bit more money if you're a power-user. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This blower is perfect for me to clean my mowers after mowing a lot of grass. I always have to get my husbands blower out and it’s big and bulky to use, I’m so glad I got this one. The air flow and power is perfect for me to get the leaves under the deck. It’s very easy for me to use and the battery last me thru several uses. Also it works great for me to blow the leaves out of flower bed with out blowing the landscape rocks out. Nice lightweight blower. ... show more

The good…it is light weight and the Dewalt batteries fit. The rest is bad. First off the air speed is only ok. The volume of air moved is only ok. According to the description it has “infinite variable speed.” There is an on/off switch. It is either full speed or nothing. It does have the look of Dewalt products but not the quality. I have use other brands for the same or lower price that had better air speed, volume, and build quality for the same or lower price AND they come with a battery. My recommendation…pass on this one. ... show more

  • Cheap feeling... but works!
Style: MINI
It blows a lot of air. I was not impressed by the rather lightweight construction. Of course, yes, you do not want a single-handed device to be too heavy, but on the other hand the impression, when opening the box was that it looked like and felt almost like a toy: Lightweight, thin plastic. The wand/tube attachment looks like an after thought to make it work, rather than a real tool (not heavy duty at all). The accessory "vacuum bag" is tiny. The holes in the collection bag's attachment point won't let anything bigger than a pea to get through and into the bag. I suspect that if I used to this pick up "stuff", I'd eventually need to open up the tool to remove the trash that collected because it wasn't small enough to go through. (Not really a good design for "vacuuming".) The blower is adequate, given the expected battery, and seems sufficiently strong for blowing away dust, dirt, spiders and leaves as long as they are not stuck in place too much. One point of distress was that you could feel the fan-motor straining against the bearings at each end of sweeping motions. I haven't experienced this with my other, much larger battery-powered leaf blower that has a much stronger motor. So,to sum: Just as a blower, and if you get a good deal on it, I'd say this is worth having for ocasional, gentle small jobs. Keep in mind that the motor mount and bearings, or the body/case itself may give up before your battery does. ... show more
