A pillow is such a personal preference item, it's hard to tell others it's good, or not so great. I prefer memory foam pillows, but I got this for my daughter and she likes it. Came vacuum packed, but fluffed up nicely.

I'm really surprised by how nice this no-name, cheap-ish pillow is! I actually love it! (Although...the one I got doesn't look like the pictures. Mine has a gusset with two stripes of navy-colored piping going around the perimeter, like in some of the customer photos.) I let mine air out for a few days (even though there was no odor) and didn't bother doing the dryer fluff. On the negative side, it seems like this pillow is a tad longer than all the other pillows I've used -- it sticks out of my pillow case, which is a bit annoying. However, I've been sleeping great on it, so I'll just have to sew up some custom sized cases for this one, lol. It's somewhat dense, but not at all hard on the head, and is nicely, evenly fluffy. For me personally, it would be absolutely perfect if it were an inch less thick, but I'm still extremely happy with it. Too often you try out a new pillow and it's just unusable. I'm thrilled this one wasn't just usable, but very comfortable! I'm a bit mystified about the change in product photos, though. If I wanted to buy another one to complete the pair, it seems like I would get a different pillow... ... show more

Once removed from the packaging, and fluffed up, this pillow measures nearly 6 inches thick. While the filling isn't particularly dense, it is quite expansive. This pillow has a plush feel when slept on, again partially because of how expansive the filling is. I'm a back sleeper primarily, and this pillow works great for me. I also think it would work very well for side sleepers. The pillow covering feels very soft on my face. Overall, I think this is a great pillow and one of the best ones I've reviewed in the past couple of months. 4 stars ... show more

This review is for: HEYCUZI Luxury Queen Size Pillow (Pack of 1) Bed Pillow. It is a different pillow than the one currently shown in the listing. It is a large pillow, with a dark trim. It arrives rolled up, vacuum sealed as many pillows are these days. It fluffs up quickly but takes several hours to reach its full size. It is average thickness, not flat & not full ... somewhere in the middle. It feels very soft to me. It is quite comfy when I put my head on it but I do feel like my head sinks right into it. As I like a firm pillow, this one is too soft for me to use as my nightly pillow. I like to sleep with my head elevated & so I use several pillows. This pillow will be great to go behind my firmer pillow. A big plus is that this pillow had NO odor at all upon opening. It's a nice basic pillow. I recommend it for those that prefer a SOFT pillow. ... show more

    • Not Fluffy. Rather Flat.

For the price, it is rather pricey because two fluffy and puffy pillows can be purchased at this price. Throw in the fact that it is not puffy at all and the filling falls rather flat quite fast and it becomes a pillow to avoid if you can. Here is what I think about it: 1) No fluff nor puffiness at all despite attempts to make it puff up. I wanted it to be as puffy as it can be, but the pillow just did not want to become puffy at all. Placing it in the dryer did not work as it would with down pillows. This is not a good sign for a brand new pillow right out of the packaging. It is common and expected for a pillow that has been used for quite some time to be as flat as this is, but definitely not something to be expected for a brand new pillow. 2) The polyester fill was below average. In my hand, the polyester fill consists of many balls. While laying down on it, the bunched up polyester fill was not that noticeable, but the uneven surface did affect comfort. Overall, I'd say avoid if you can. ... show more
