I prepped the wall with alcohol and dried thoroughly. I let them sit for an hour for the adhesion to adhere. They were not sticky enough to fully adhere to the wall. They came off easily. The backing was not sticky at all once it came off. Luckily I did not hang my glass picture frame with it.

Was just what I was looking for to hang the two items that could not be "hung" with the adhesive tape mechanism even with remove the wired hanging mechanisms. They were easy to use and have held up so far (about a month). Haven't had to remove them yet.

Living in a rental, I was delighted to know about the Command strips to prevent holes in the wall. I followed the directions ( note: advised not to hang anything over a bed or anything valuable..that should have given me a clue.) Walls were prepared, painted ( waited 8 days before using product.). After one week, 2 pictures fell off the wall...One need new glass. Then a second set fell. Last night , after 2 months, 3 framed pictures ( I weighed each picture to use the correct product) 3 fell off the wall at 3AM. I am back to hammer and nails, and will paint the holes if I ever move. It say it holds up to 16 lbs and is not true. The frame I used it for is 8 lbs and it plummet to the floor after a few weeks. It is also not user friendly the explanation and video are confusing. It could probably work for smaller frames or hanging items but not for mediums to large frames
