  • INSTALLATION GUIDE: Installation hardware kits are required and sold separately, each D-ring will require one cable rope (DO NOT use nylon ropes, they break easily!!). I bought this to connect my garage to my house, for cover in the rain and shade in the sun. It works great for both! I will say that some rain does drip through which I think is a great quality considering I couldn’t pitch it enough to have a significant run off. It stretches when very wet but then tightens right up once the sun comes back out. It also had some large wrinkles immediately after install but those tightened out as well. I bought the recommended hardware kit for it but replaced carabiners with larger ones and used with heavy duty chain, since my space was a little too large for the size I bought (I knew this before purchasing). The other side uses the 10” turnbuckles which are perfect for this use case as well. Color is exactly as pictured (vibrant red) but I did have to adjust to the red tint it gives the light that shines through my side door :) Overall very happy with purchase and quality. Easy to install as well (we are amateurs and still nailed it). My friends went and bought their own after seeing mine. ... show more

I love the sun shade. It’s made well, came with everything I needed but you really need to make sure it’s hanging from something durable like your house. I had mine attached to the house in one side and 4x4 posts on the other that are cemented into a planter and it kept pulling the posts over so I had to take it down. This sun sail gives us the perfect shade.cI absolutely love the look and the ease that it went up. Husband installed with ease w/o the offered hardware. Which worked out very well bc the the sail stretches... over several days one will need to adjust and reset. But I love it! This is a really nice shade sail. We put it up and it fits great. Be sure to measure first! The only thing that I’ve noticed is that if it gets rained on, the water doesn’t quite roll off (could be that our pitch isn’t a huge angle) so the sail dips a bit in the middle. We take it off our deck if it gets too windy. So when we put it back up, we tighten it and the dipping in the sail is no longer noticeable.. therefore it stretches right back out. bought this product for shade and it does the job. There is no perimeter pocket for a wire rope like more expensive models so this can be difficult to tension. It is holding up well but required several changes to tension after being installed. the material is very stretchy so after time in the sun and heat it will require adjustment. ... show more

Returned the 6X12 sail because it was much to large for the space. It was easy to install and very durable. Full refund even though return policy states a restocking fee. Customer service has been excellent.
