The media could not be loaded. This cover is so cute! I love how it looks, it’s sturdy and protective. My only complaint is that the stretchy hand support is on the wrong side! What I mean is, it’s on the left side which would be fine, but the magnet to keep the front cover folded back is on the right side. The weight of the kindle leans left if you hold it with your left hand so the it won’t stay closed when you are holding it. See the video if I’m not doing a good job of explaining lol Still a great product but I basically don’t/can’t use the hand support. ... show more

This case is really nice. It gives the Kindle a feeling of reading an old special book. The stand works well to keep the Kindle upright while reading. The sleep mode feature works perfectly. The hand strap is also nice and keeps the Kindle in place. I bought it because it seemed like it would give more protection then just a light weight fabric cover, and it does, but that means it is a little more bulky. I would recommend. ... show more

This is a great cover that makes the Kindle look and feel like a real book. The material simulates leather very well and just feels good. If you want to hold it with the strap, it is only designed to be held by the left hand. I am a righty, but it still feels okay. I don't think many people will opt to use the strap anyway, and I just hold it like a book with the cover wrapped around behind it. The stand works good for hands-free reading. The cover design is great for me as a man. I dropped it down to 4 stars due to the misleading advertising claim. The headline calls it PU leather which is intentionally vague. Many people will obviously miss the "PU" before the "leather" claim and think they are buying some type of leather. There is no such thing as leather made out of PU (Poly Urethane). The technical name of the material can be argued, but still... don't try to make sales out of clever wording. I'm happy to buy fake/faux/leather-like leather to get a cheaper price; just be upfront about it. Kindle unit is supposed to automatically go into sleep mode when the cover is closed. In the dark, I can see the light is still on by looking at the edges when the cover is closed. Since realizing that issue, I just remember to squeeze the cover closed a little bit and that puts it into sleep mode. Maybe the hold-close magnets are just a little weak, or the cover is a little thick. This very small point does not take away any stars whatsoever. ... show more

I love this cover! I just bought a new Paperwhite, and almost bought the bundle with a denim cover, but, thank goodness, I browsed some other covers and found this one. I thought it was just plain brown leather but it actually has some detailing on the front so that it looks like an old school leather book, which I just love!! The inside strap is also great for holding the Kindle while reading - this is so much more comfortable than having to hold onto the Kindle. If you like the look of an old leather book, you won't be disappointed if you buy this cover! ... show more
