I love them. They help with my squats because sometimes the plates will be moving a bit in some barbells and this locks on perfectly on the gym bar and as well easy to put on and take off

I have bought the yellow ones back in 2018 which were perfect. Easy to open and super smooth. I bought the red ones in 2023. The red ones work well but they were really stiff. You need to repeatedly open and close them so they become smoother. Unless you do this, closing and opening them takes a lot of effort. I didn't have this problem with the previous yellow ones. Ordered the Red/Black set, work just as good as any other clamp, for about half the price. I only lift a 2x45 each side deadlifts, I do drop the bar, and these clips hold up. Couldn't tell you how they hold up with more weight, as that is all I deadlift right now. If you are starting your home gym, a great product to cut cost and have money for other equipment.
