Top Amazon Reviews

  • Has some cons that I'd wish I'd known before purchase. Not worth the money
Style: White - No Remote
We purchased this foot massager based mostly upon the reviews on amazon, as well as outside sites that had recommended this as one of the best available. I would disagree. While it is a decent machine, it's developers missed the boat on making this an exceptional/best of the best possibility. Here is what I noticed: ** It has no remote control on this model. To some, this is no big deal but for those that have a bit harder time moving around after getting in a comfortable position, (i.e laying), it's an up-down every 15 minutes, to hit the power to run another cycle. Having a full remote (with options same as the panel) would be a huge improvement. **15 minutes. That's it. Times up. Really? I'd like more options (10, 15, 20, 25, whoa 30? Yeah. Why not?) **You have to RESET the settings EVERY time you run a new cycle. 15min is up and DING! Sit up, manually reset all the settings you have already put in before (god forbid you run the cycle more than twice.) It forgets the last programmed settings. To me this should be a no brainer. If I take the time to set it to my preferences, it should remember last. Then if someone else is using it, they can fiddle with it as they wish. However, if Im the only one using it, its one extra irritating step. Not to mention that I dont dare put my feet /legs in until I have powered on and manually reset -- otherwise, it grips the crud out of my feet/legs and is very painful. (Im a no pressure gal -- YIKES!) **There should be a middle squeeze /pressure level at minimum. Again, seemed like a no brainer to me to add something in between " Nope. No squeeze for you, you big baby" to the extreme opposite "High pressure/squeeze until your eyeballs pop out and your toes fall off." But again, I'd sure like a LITTLE pressure-- better yet, a sliding scale of set your own! A novel idea. ** Holy smokes is this thing heavy! Dang. Im no weaky but I didnt realize I'd need a hand truck to move it from room to room, on/off the bed, out to the chair under my desk. Hey, why not add a couple wheels on it? Too much? I don't know, but wow. I need a back massager after moving this foot massager. EEK. **Heat is either off or on.. no other choices. I understand liability and they may be afraid to put too much heat for fear of a burn, but if they are ok with adding pressure that could kill a small animal, I think a few extra degrees for options would be nice. No heat. Warm, ahh thats nice. Really warm, oh now thats relaxing!, Hot. Yep, can feel that in depth. Im ok with this today, maybe not tomorrow. Hell-Fire-Damnation, somebody call the fire department my feet are fire. You get the drift. **Vibration--on or off. Seeing a pattern here, dont you? Yes, I'd like to be able to have minimal (a sweet ippity-tap), medium (some gentle Karate chops, HiYah!), to a high (is that an earthquake??) Or again.... give me a sliding knob for a specific adjustments. Just a thought. **For the HIGH COST of this thing, (to me anyway. Need to mortgage my house now), I'd expect the designers to have thought of even the most basic of things above. At minimum a remote with a remember me setting. My fiance likes it pretty well, and even though he's a pretty strong dude, he gripes when he has to move it as well. He's nice enough to move it for me sometimes, otherwise I'm on my own. Personally, I think there is something out there that would have given me more customization for the cost. But that's just me. ... show more

  • Digs deep!!! Finally found relief!
Style: White - With Remote
I work in healthcare (I’m a nursing student by day and a PCT at a cancer hospital by night!) and always on my feet running around. I have pretty severe plantar fasciitis and needed something that could really dig into that tissue to break it up. I ordered a different foot massager first (the MIKO foot massager machine here on Amazon) that is enclosed and almost like one big boot for your feet. Yes, you can move your ankles to angle the machine, but your toes and heels have to go in the same spot always because there’s no opening. That is what made me return that one because the massager was stronger on the balls of my feet vs the heels and I wasn’t able to move my foot around in the “boot.” Since this one is open and essentially just two slits to fit your feet into as you’d like, if I’m having a particularly troubling heel day, I can put only my heels on the machine or place my heels onto the strongest points. I can move around my feet to its needs, if that makes sense, which is ideal to me! I can also adjust this machine to lay flat on the floor so I can dig my feet in stronger, or angle it up so it’s an easier massage. My dad, who is older than me and says his feet are losing fat, wasn’t a fan of this machine as he said it was too rough for him. To me, it is perfect and there’s plenty of ways to customize it to your liking. If you’re looking for something that is strong and deep tissue, this is the one! ... show more

  • Complete Surprise
Style: White - No Remote
I have issues with my feet. I sustained an injury 20 years ago, and was always able to deal with the pain. Recently, that old injury has made standing on my feet for long periods of time unbearable. I knew I needed some kind of relief. I read the reviews for this unit about 2 years ago, but decided to go with a Brookstone unit, because I was familiar with their brand name. I had two Brookstone units that completely failed in under 3 months with very light use. I had never used or tried any mechanical foot massaging device before the Brookstone purchase. That unit felt great to me at that time because I was having major foot pain issues, and it provided relief. But the motor was weak, and it did not take much for the motor to completely go out with mild usage. I saw this unit on sale during a Black Friday sale for $149 dollars, which was a steal. So, I decided to give it a try. My expectations were low because I had never heard of the brand Cloud before. I expected it to be less effective than Brookstone because Brookstone has been manufacturing all kinds of massage devices for years. I thought I would use it, and send it back if it did not massage my feet well, or if the motor died shortly after use. For $149, I did not think I had much to lose. I was so wrong about this product and brand. I have used this device almost every night, and some times, for back to back to back sessions. The motor is able to handle it, and it massages my painful foot enough to provide me with temporary relief. It provides a deep massage on the lowest setting, so much better than the Brookstone unit. You have options to increase the intensity, and make other adjustments to customize your massage experience, which I have done when my feet are really ailing me. I have a tendency to go for the brand that has been around forever, and that has cornered the market if given an opportunity when it comes to appliances. My bias is thinking that they have figured it out through trial an error and experience. I believe that is true in a lot of cases, but every now and then, some one new comes into an established market, and they make a better product. Cloud's product was better than Brookstone in every respect, including having a more powerful motor. I cannot compare this product to other massagers because I have only used the Brookstone unit and this one. I can say this blows the Brookstone Shiatsu massager out of the water. I was very surprised in a pleasant way. The fact that it was only $149 during Amazon's Black Friday sale was just the cherry on the top. This product was worth the full asking price and has brought my injured foot so much relief over the course of a year. ... show more
