I received this and the heater/blower makes an extremely loud and annoying sound. The flame and colors are very pretty so this item works for decoration but if you need it for heat don't bother. I tried to return it and they wouldn't even take it back. Told me to cut the cord and void the sticker and then they gave me a refund so it's essentially a hunk of garbage now and I won't re-order it because it seems like a lot of people are having the same issue. They are defective. They wouldn't exchange for a functional model. I'm back to looking for a new one. ... show more

This crystal electric fireplace is everything I dreamed it would be and more! It is beautiful, quiet as a mouse, and requires no assembly (besides batteries into remote)! The color-changing flames, are the true game-changer here, with purple, pink, orange, blue, red, and of course yellow flame options! The bonus of it all was that the customer service West Furnishings offered, they went so far above and beyond when it came to making sure that I made the perfect purchase and that the product quality was to my satisfaction! I knew exactly what I wanted in an electric fireplace and spent years searching...and then I found this one. So many amazing color combinations and the glass rocks really add to the effects! The heat output is great but I also enjoy the no-heat option to brighten the room on gloomy days year-round. It was a godsend during the pandemic. Whatever mechanism that makes the flames dance is noisy. Contacted seller but got generic reply pertaining to possible shipping damage/return. Not sure that is the problem, as no apparent damage. Guess I’ll live with it. Otherwise nice. Remote is a bit complicated, symbols not intuitive - to me at least. ... show more

Fits perfect as an insert in our fireplace. Heat output better than the older type stoves and the variety of flame and rock colors make this attractive when in use.
