Our original streaming device died & was freezing up before that so my husband did some research & looked into what would be best to use with our TV & the accounts we have & this is where we settled. It has a remote that makes it easy to use. You can also use voice control for it. It was easy to set up & responds to prompts easily. The quality of the picture when streamed through this is clear & bright. It does require a wifi connection or a Hotspot connection. So far we are pleasantly surprised with how well it works. I've had the Chromecast for a few weeks now and I gotta say, it's been a game changer for my living room. Setup was a breeze, just plug it in and follow the prompts on your phone or tablet. The remote is super simple to use, love the voice search feature, makes finding what I want to watch a whole lot easier. The buttons are pretty responsive, though sometimes I have to press them a couple times to get the job done. Performance wise, it's been great, streams in 1080p no problem, even with a few devices connected to my wifi. It's tiny, so it's not taking up much space behind my TV.
