I've been curious about air fryers for quite awhile, but didn't want to pay a lot just to find out I wouldn't use it much. Also because I already have limited space for storage with all the other gadgets. But after reading the reviews of this small unit I decided it was worth $35 or so to see if I would agree. I've had it about a week and so far have used it every day, all for frozen items that I usually bake or microwave. I must say that everything has turned out much better using the air fryer. Everything comes out perfectly crispy and in less time and temperature than using the oven. Fries, chicken strips and wings, onion rings, battered fish, shrimp and clams were all better this way. And I swear the wings were even juicier and surprisingly more flavorful. I definitely will not be going back to the previous methods. So far I've cooked everything at 375 for 10 to 15 minutes and the results are very consistent. If something is not quite done to your liking just put it back in for a few more minutes. It is extremely easy to clean. The exhaust air is about the same as a hair dryer. The compact size makes it easy to store. Regarding the smell, I took the rubber bumpers off the grate and there was absolutely no bad odor. The controls are so simple I don't see why other units even bother with digital controls. I used the timer on my phone to compare with the manual timer on the unit and it is close enough not to matter. ... show more

I love these little mini air fryers! Here’s the thing, if you’re willing to add 15 degrees to your cooking settings, it works perfectly. For example, hard boiled eggs should be cooked at 250° for 15 minutes and then rested for 5 minutes. So, I set it to cook at 275° for 15 minutes, then let it rest for five minutes. For chicken nuggets, since they’re already supposed to be cooked at 400°, I just had a couple minutes to the cook time. Once you learn the time and temp for your favorite dishes, then there’s nothing wrong with this air fryer! I bought my first one in August 2024. So now I bought my second one in December. If you cook a lot of new dishes every week, this air fryer isn’t for you. But if you typically buy similar foods, you’re gonna love how small and cute it looks on your counter. ... show more

This is a nice lil guy. Compact size fits nicely on my counter without taking up a ton of room. Doesn't take up a lot of room when I put it away during non-use. Very quiet. As another reviewer said, it does need to cook a little longer or at a higher temp than the food instructions say. I made mozzarella sticks and they were melted inside, just not hot hot like they should be. Same with the frozen popcorn chicken. But that's how it goes with all cooking appliances. Once you figure out the quirks it's perfect. I'm not a huge fan of the silicone pieces on the sides of the rack. Since they are not completely snug against the metal, it can allow grease and water to go into them. It would be nice if they hugged the metal tighter. A minor issue though. This is a very basic and inexpensive appliance, ordered to replace an air fryer that suddenly died. The touch controls seem to be a little sluggish but it’s probably my large fingers. The capacity is less than my old one and I find myself packing it to the max. It is light weight and consequently when I am pushing the controls it slides around.
