The media could not be loaded. We received our first hoverboard and it did not work properly. One of the wheels wouldn’t move either forward or in reverse. Not a good start. Sent the defective unit back and received a quick replacement with no hassle or problems, which was good. We didn’t initially see the small paper instructional insert (pictured) with the first board, indicating that you need to calibrate the hoverboard before use. Follow these steps before riding it. Not sure why this wasn’t included on the small pamphlet of instructions. The kids got the hang of riding it quickly, and it works well. The only negative feedback from a control standpoint was that it’s a little less stable or slightly more “twitchy” than some of the other hoverboards the kids had used before. Having said that, they seemed to ride it and control it just fine. There is no mention or instructions regarding the Bluetooth, which was odd since the speaker is advertised very heavily. FYI, the board comes up as “Bluetooth” to connect to your music device. We used iPhones to connect and had no issues, once we finally realized what the device name was for the board. The range is very limited, which makes sense, since you’ll likely have your music device in your pocket as you ride. For parents, if you connect your phone, and let your kid ride it, it will drop out of range quickly, as they hover away. No mention about weight limit for the board in the instructions either. I think someone asked in the questions section and the manufacturer indicated 160 lbs or so. It’s definitely a kid or small adult board. Not listing a weight limit seems like a pretty big oversight for a small board. Hate to risk damage having someone too large riding it. We do think the colored LED lights on the board are fun. We also noticed that the lights seem to flash to the beat when music is playing on it, which is a nice little touch. We’ve not used it for really long rides, but the board seems to have enough charge for the kids to mess around on it for at least hour, with no sign of it stopping. We’ve had no issues charging it or keeping a charge on it. Overall, a pretty good little hoverboard for kids to have fun on, at a reasonable price. We just wish the instructions were a little more comprehensive and thorough. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. There’s a special place in this world for stupid people, apparently I am one of those people. I went to visit my sister in Idaho and thought it would be cool if I could figure out how to ride my nieces hoverboard. Same brand same color as the one I purchased. Three days of riding around the house, I thought, I’m the cool aunt, because I could ride this thing. Like, by the end of day three, I was doing Spinney’s on the carpet, and able to cruise around the house with crap in my hands, just maneuvering the board with my body lingo This is how the stupid started. Fourth of July evening, it’s dark, fireworks going off outside, two glasses of red wine down, I think- “Ooooooh I should take the board outside and ride and watch fireworks.” I’m cruising along on a dark driveway with a glass of red wine in one hand, sparkler in the other, singing the Star-Spangled Banner. And it was dark and I was being stupid. The board was innocent. Here’s the really good part of the story where my stupid gets stupider. The night before my accident, I loved riding the hover board so much that I bought myself one, this board, on Amazon. The next day after my arm was the size of a huge German stuffed sausage, I didn’t cancel that order. In fact, I got back on my nieces board the next morning to “get back in the saddle” if you will. Moral of the story, this board is super fun, super easy to maneuver and holds a charge well, but get some pads to go with it. 🤣 ... show more

The hoverboard itself is pretty great, my daughter loves it, but the music part doesn't work on the one we recieved. My phone is connected to the right bluetooth, the volume is all the way up, but nothing happens when I play a song. Very disappointed, because I saw so many great reviews. My Grand Daughter out grew her first hoverboard and needed one that would support her size and weight. She picked this one and, so far, is very happy with it. She visited this past weekend and brought her hoverboard with her. I took her (and one of her friends) to a local play ground where they could zip around and have some fun. She is large for her age but the board seems to have no problem handling the size and weight. They played for almost two hours with no apparent drain on the batteries. I got it for my niece for Christmas and flew all the way to Brazil with it. She loved it!!! She was so happy with it, even more because none of the ones available for purchase in Brazil don’t play music, neither have the lights shining. She loved it! Only think I have to complain is that for beginners can be a little tricky to stand on, since both of the sides move to different directions at the same time. There should be an option to select Zig zag mode or not. Although she was able to figure it out, and learned the how to stand up, and do the zig zag and all that pretty well after three days.
