My cat likes it and I LOVE it! No more litter scattered around the litter box. Good quality. Lid fits well. I use a jumbo liner with it to make changing the litter even easier. You don’t have to use a liner if you don’t mind washing the litter box when you change the litter.

    • Gets the job done, but the rim is finicky
We needed high sides, and tried this and 2 other models. Our cats don't kick litter out of the pan, so the snap-on rim is not as important for us. No litter sticking to the bottom, so scooping is simple. And the high sides are excellent. But the rim is hard to properly snap on, so don't mess with trying to take it off for scooping. Leaving it in place, however, makes maneuvering the scoop a little trickier. Perfectly serviceable, but I went with the "Pureness Giant High Sides Cat Litter Pan" from Van Ness for a 4th unit purchase. It costs less and does everything I need it to do. ... show more

I bought this to replace the litter box we had for our two female cats. When using the box we previously had many times when they peed, when they squatted it would go outside of the box.     • The only litter box I will ever buy
I have exclusively bough this litter box model for the last 5+ years. Annually, I buy a new one to replace my old one, however earlier this year I just felt uncomfortable buying a $30+ litter box. I bought a cheaper alternative that looked very similar but was immediately disappointed. The back walls of this litterbox are high and the snap-on lip really does help precent litter scattering. Unlike other litterboxes with a snap-on lip, this one is curved so no liquid gets trapped in between the seal. The corners of the box are smooth and allow for easy scooping. I bought one of these litter boxes for my mom's cat -- a legendary litter spreader -- to use. It doesn't keep all the litter in the box but cuts down on the amount kicked out. I have a huge male cat that takes up a lot of space and when he covers his business up, his powerful arms throw the litter around. He also prefers to sit on the ledge at potty time which makes the box shake so he sometimes misses. I have tried every "jumbo" box on the market. My older cat, Lou, is built like a linebacker and came to me with a good bit of litter box aversion; his previous owner had trained him to use the bathtub, as she did not want to deal with litter, which meant I had eight years of behavior to modify when I took him in. He also pees against the back wall of his boxes, and with his height that meant pee would occasionally find its way over the side of other boxes. However, he is an older cat, so boxes with high walls all around weren't an option. Sometimes, we'd find a box that sorta worked, but it would be horrible to clean. Lou is a supremely well-hydrated cat, and many boxes would take his urine clumps and hold onto them for dear life, refusing to let go without a fight. The Catit box is perfect for us. It has a low enough entry that he can easily climb in, while having a high enough back wall that eliminated any splashover. And it's a dream to clean. The sides are slick and the corners are curved, so clumps come out easily. I want to replace every litter box in my house with this one.
