Really good machine. Doesn’t burn pancakes easily. Cooks them thoroughly. Easy to clean and food doesn’t stick to it. It takes a little practice to know when they’re too full or not full enough to make the perfect shape. I’d say the price I paid (around $30) is average. You can probably shop around find it on sale at like a craft store or something but I was still happy with my purchase. It helps my picky eater be a little more open to stuff. Pros: - easy to clean: wipe down after you're done - different car types, fun gift for a toddler - very quick to cook, no plastic or burnin smell at all Cons: - car shape varies depending on batter, inconsistent and may be difficult for a young child to tell - green indicator light can be inconsistent with whether waffles are truly done, sometimes still too soft when the light indicates it is done - lid hinge feels a little loose - for all the cons listed above, price is a little hefty Overall a great gift if you're buying it for someone else or for a vehicle-obsessed toddler who could be coaxed into eating waffles hidden with vegetables.
