Pros: At $24.95 much less expensive than the $161 that the dealer wants. Easy to program Has good range Update 12/27/2019 Another Pro is that this fob can be linked to either of the seat/mirror memory settings (1 or2). This is unlike the original Acura fob that comes preset to 1 or 2 and cannot be changed (at least I've not found a way to change the original settings). Cons: Not as easy to change the battery as with the original fob. Unlike the original fob, the buttons on this are flush with the case making them difficult to find by feel. This aspect of the key fob made me order an original Acura OEM fob from eBay to get the same feel as the original fob. The programming instructions do not explain how to link the remote to the seat/mirror memory. Fortunately, I didn't realize that this fob came with a battery and when I opened the case to insert a battery I noticed that the PCB had instructions for selecting the memory setting silk screened on it. Although those instructions were rather vague I was able to complete that process and link the fob to the desired seat/mirror memory setting. Had I known that this fob came with a battery I never would have opened it up and still wouldn't know how to select the memory setting because while the basic programming instructions can be found easily on the internet, I've yet to find the memory selection instructions anywhere but on the PCB in this fob. ... show more

It really worked for my 06 acura mdx and was easy to do. Just make sure when you turn the ignition on to wait until all the needles on the dash (speedometer, etc) load for lack of better words before you press lock on the key fob. If you press the button too soon it won't work. And If you mess up you have to start over. But it was easy. Took me 3 tries ... show more

It worked great. Took a couple tries to get the programming down. Just be a little fast about it. Took battery out of old key to test and ensure it worked and started car with the security key. All in one. I would recommend far above dealer $$$$$ solution. Just popped the physical key out of old fob joined with new one. On split ring. Great product economical solution ... show more
