I bought this car key thinking it would be a simple replacement, but it turned out to be a complete waste of money. First, the key didn’t work at all when I tried to use it. Then, when I took it to a professional to have it programmed, they couldn’t get it to work either. After multiple attempts and wasted hours, it was clear that this key was just a dud. The locksmith was able to use both keys to program and make them fit my ignition, as well as unlock the doors. Don't waste your money on the more expensive dealership. Worked for my 2007 Acura RDX. Great value!

Decent remote, was able to cut key and program with my Autel IM608 however the hatch release button didn't work on 2011 MDX. Maybe the button works on Acura sedans for trunks?

This product is straight trash. What a scam, it is certainly not compatible with the 2009 Mdx. The buttons for open/close and panic are cheap and flimsy, differing drastically from the OEM, swapping the original oem board to the new fob is impossible because of the frameworks don’t align / circuit buttons are much more elevated than oem board making the swap dead on arrival. Your better off going to the dealer eat the cost, save yourself from the agony of this fob and treat yourself to some ice cream because you deserve not to buy this. ... show more
