I bought this as a replacement for my Subaru Forester jack, which got slightly bent when the car crept forward while changing a tire because some idiot (uh... me) forgot to set the parking break. Amazon did like my first review, so this is my second attempt. Unfortunately, I could not put zero stars. Let me be as clear as I can, this is by far the biggest piece of crap that I’ve purchased BAR NONE. If you value your safety, stay far away from this product. I purchased this product April 2024 and used it once to rotate the tires of my wife’s BMW. Traditionally I would use a floor jack, but I wanted to use the scissor jack to see how it would perform. After lifting the vehicle once, the threaded rod bent and there were medal shavings from the rod on the ground. Literally, I expected the car to fall to the ground. Not sure who at amazon listed this as “AMAZON’S CHOICE” but I would fire them immediately. Here is another bit of information. The socket that can with the set. Check out the photo. Even that started to break down. What kind of medal do they use overseas? GARBAGE! Save yourself the time & aggravation and stay away from this product. It’s so poorly made that if they gave it to you for free, it still would not be worth it. Your safety is number one. Save your money and purchase something else. ... show more
