  • Canon R6 Mark II: A Photographic Powerhouse with Incredible Focus Tracking
Style: Body Only Set: Body
The Canon R6 Mark II is my second purchase of this incredible camera model, and I absolutely love it. As a professional photographer, I’ve used a wide range of cameras over the years, and the R6 Mark II stands out as one of the best for capturing stunning photos with ease and precision. One of the most impressive features of this camera is its focus tracking. It’s nothing short of amazing how accurately and quickly it locks onto subjects, even those in motion. Whether I’m photographing wildlife, sports, or portraits, the focus tracking never fails to deliver sharp and clear images. This capability has elevated my photography to a whole new level, allowing me to capture moments with incredible detail and clarity. The R6 Mark II also offers excellent low-light performance, thanks to its high ISO sensitivity and advanced image stabilization. I’ve been able to shoot in challenging lighting conditions without compromising image quality, which is a huge plus for anyone who loves shooting at night or indoors. Additionally, the camera’s ergonomic design makes it comfortable to hold and easy to operate, even during long shooting sessions. The menu system is intuitive, and the touchscreen display is a pleasure to use. Overall, the Canon R6 Mark II has exceeded my expectations in every way. It’s a reliable, high-performance camera that’s perfect for both amateur and professional photographers alike. Whether you’re upgrading from another model or looking for a powerful camera to start your photography journey, the R6 Mark II is a fantastic choice that won’t disappoint. ... show more

  • Awesome camera still today
Style: Body Only Set: Body
This camera excellent for any kind of photography, focusing system is top notch, as now is 2 years old and is hard to beat by any camera in its class. shooting photos at a blazing 40fps with little rolling shutter, I like the 24mp full frame sensor size that give amazing picture quality with very well controlled noise even at high iso, video quality also is excellent, 4k at 24, 30 and 60fps, there are many nice features packed in this camera, for then price you won't be wrong, there are minor limitations that so far don't bother me much, like memory cards are not CFexpress, buffer for fast photo burst capture is on the small size for 40fps but for 12fps I never hit the buffer limit shooting in raw. Again, many features to put them all here! ... show more

  • Camera's Technology-Enabled Capability Is Astonishing
Style: Body Only Set: Body
The Canon R6 Mark ii was my upgrade from a Canon 5D Mark iii (circa 2012). I've had it for a few days and need to familiarize myself with more of its features. It is much smaller and lighter than my old camera. This camera makes it easy to navigate the menus via the dials and buttons. The autofocus is fast and flexible. The exposures for the shooting modes I've used (Av, Tv, and Manual) are very good. The mirrorless rate of image capture is jaw-dropping. No doubt there are faster cameras, but this is something compared with my old one. The photos were all hand-held, illustrating the image stabilization and exposure capability of the camera. I'm happy with the purchase and am eager to spend more time using this camera. ... show more

  • If you’re considering buying, DO IT!
Style: Body Only Set: Body
I invested in this camera, and I’m so happy I did. I immediately fell in love. I upgraded from a Nikon d3400 which was a big upgrade. I love the screen and how light weight the camera body is. The good lenses are super expensive, BUT the quality is WORTH IT!!!!!!! It works AMAZING! I am still learning the camera and the new settings and buttons and such but I’m already so in love with it. The battery life of the canon batteries are also excellent, as they should be for the price. I do suggest those over the off brands for battery life. LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS CAMERA!!! Best decision I ever made for my photography. ... show more

  • Nearly Perect camera!!!
Style: 24-105 STM Kit Set: 24-105 STM Kit
What is there not to love about this camera? I waited awhile, testing it out thoroughly, to give it a honest review. Too many thing to list that I love about it. Most may not know, that there is a 2x and 4x digital built in zoom. I've found that the 2x works really nice, the 4x not so much. The 4x, you might be able to use another program outside of Lightroom, to improve the quality. Two things I do not like would be, 1st, you should be able to reprogram one of the buttons to turn on the pre-burst mode, without having to go though other steps to use it. By that time, the need might be over with and you will miss your shot. 2nd would be, where it saves all photos taken in burst mode into one file. It's a pain in the butt to save one file at a time, using Canon only program. They need to update that program!!!! ... show more

Why didn’t I go mirrorless years ago!? The silence when photographing a wedding is sooooo nice (especially during the ceremony in the church!)! I was used to Canon from my 5d mark 3 so the learning transitions to this was nice and simple. The touch screen is helpful for menu options, the screen tilting is helpful to take photos from all different angles. The focus options, such as on the right eye is helpful for portraits. I’m in love with this camera!!! I got the 25-70 lens to go with it, and it works beautifully for almost every paid shoot I go on. ... show more

  • Amazing
Style: Body Only Set: Body
I’m sure people write verbose reviews talking about Canon color, features, mirrorless technology, etc. you can go on line and watch a weeks worth of reviews. Bottom line, every part of this camera is stunning. The autofocus in articular is a huge step forward. I enjoy the ease of control and immediate access to what I want to adjust before taking the photo. Two card slots is great if using this in an Lu professional job or even capturing special moments. Having redundancy in camera is nice. This is an advanced camera and shooting in raw will give you the most flexibility. If you don’t plan to spend time editing images on the computer, then a less expensive body would suffice. This camera has amazing video capabilities. I don’t use video at all so would be nice to have a less expensive option without video but Canon doesn’t provide that. It’s amazing. It’s a lot of camera that gives the user unlimited control. It’s rather expensive, and it’s worth it! ... show more
