  • Solid value - really a delight to own this
Style: Body w/ 18-55mm Lens
Love the quality, image clarity and flexibility to get all kinds of lenses/accessories. It is not too delicate, as I dropped it and sent it in for repair. I am glad I bought an extended warranty. I use mine every day, and am a convert from another brand that all appraisers use except for me.

  • Amazing Beginner DSLR Camera
Style: Body w/ 18-55mm Lens
I'd like to recommend this entry-level DSLR camera to all users who haven't bought a camera yet. I initially came across it during a digital photography class where it was provided, and subsequently, I purchased it myself! It's incredibly easy to operate and handle, and now I use it as my primary tool for commercial photography. The results are exceptionally clear in well-lit areas. There can be some difficulties when shooting at night without flash, but the photos still turn out great after post-processing! The following photo was taken using the M mode, and it offers a great user experience. The battery life is also impressive. When I'm just taking photos and not recording videos, I can shoot for three to four hours straight without the battery level dropping significantly. However, video recording consumes more battery. Additionally, this camera is highly versatile, producing excellent results in portrait and landscape photography, and is also ideal for street photography. ... show more

  • Good camera
Style: Body w/ 18-55mm Lens
I bought this to replace a T3 camera. It is so similar, making the learning curve easy. The photos are sharper than my old camera. Very pleased with purchase.

  • Nice camera
Style: Body w/18-55mm & 75-300mm Lenses
Good camera, I feel it is more for an intermediate photographer. It has too many features for a beginner. It does take wonderful pictures.

  • Its pretty good
Style: Body w/ 18-55mm Lens
Overall this camera is perfectly fine for new photographers, it comes with everything you need to get a lens, battery, charger. If i had to recommend anything i would recommend getting a telephoto lens, the lens that it comes with is fine for close ups but the zoom is not good enough for wildlife and aviation. The only downside to this camera bundle is that the 18-55mm lens is not made out of glass, but it works fine. ... show more

  • Good Student/Intro model
Style: Body w/ 18-55mm Lens
When you're ready to graduate from point and shoot or are looking for an entry level DSLR this is a solid choice. Our household owns 2. I purchased one 3 years ago and then purchased another when my child enrolled in a school photography class. Solid, all the manual controls to get you into or refresh your skills. Great picture quality and in our experience very reliable. Plenty of warning that battery is running low. Proprietary battery and charger, but it charges quickly and I've never had an issue on a day of shooting or photo safaris on a full/fresh charge. Internal, pop up flash or you can use an accessory or lighting kit. Works with an intravolometer and SD cards mount and eject easily. Plenty of manufacturer and aftermarket lenses as your photographer's journey progresses. ... show more

  • Worth it
Style: Body w/ 18-55mm Lens
I'm getting better and better with this. I am a house flipper and now a realtor. I work with a bank, so that I go wherever their foreclosure happens to be. With large towns, it is easy to find a photographer but in a small town they want hundreds of dollars more for less work (no competition). My photographer put this in my cart with a special lens n I take my own photos when I am too far away from him. They look good. It has saved me much more money than it cost, that is for sure! ... show more
