Description says "non-greasy". It arrived almost wet. I think I'll have to wash my hands after every use. Also can't put it down anywhere, as I would assume that greasy feel means grease stains that won't come out. I tried rinsing it off, that didn't seem to help. I ordered firm, and boy, it's definitely firm. I probably should have gotten a notch or two less firm. And I'm not doing rehab, just working on grip strength. Edit: the trick with the firm is to keep slowly squeezing. It's not play dough, you can't just squish it. But if you keep the pressure on, it will slowly yield. Also, as you work the kitty, it warms up and gets softer. Update: It's less greasy now l. I still feel like I want to wash my hands after, but it doesn't feel wet to the touch anymore. Some people have complained about not getting the amount of putty they ordered, so I weighed mine. 1. Yes, the container is only half full 2. I ordered the 4 ounce size. My scale says 4.1 ounces. I got the medium and it’s pretty tough to manage. So Depending on what you’re looking to accomplish, I’d go a step below. So the “soft” I’d assume is more of a medium and so on.
