My hand PT told me to get this brand of putty for my home exercises. I had a joint replacement in my thumb a year ago. I purchased a set of 4 of theses from the easiest on up. Now I am on the black which is the X firm. I do the exercise everyday. I highly recommend this brand.

This is a great set of hand strengthening exercise putties. The advancing difficulties of each color certainly lets you know where you stand. I have been using it regularly as part of my rehab after carpal tunnel surgery. I have also found that this putty (regardless of which level you are using) is also a great “fidget” item for stress or ADD issues. Many times I have picked it up to just mess with it while I was thinking about other things - just to have something in my hands. Overall, great product for strength therapy or rehab of the hands.
