I was impressed!! It's not large but packs a mighty punch!! Went to sleep and forgot to set my alarm to stoke it, woke up it was 27 degrees outside and 33 in the tent. Coals were still hot place some kindling and a couple of logs and 6 mins later I was in the devils den!!! When opening the door you have smoke escape while reloading. No smoke outside of that. I purchased this product as an emergency heat source. I live in rural California and depend on kerosene and electricity for heat. In a power outage my house would have no heat. While this stove is small, in a trial run it produced a good amount of heat. When this unit is no longer usable I will get another one. ... show more

I liked when I used it for the first 3 times it worked wonderful. After that it is not venting correctly and smokes like crazy when you open the door to add another piece of wood.
