I was looking for something packable and light that was incredibly sturdy that would hold like 300-315lbs for a disabled individual who cant stand for long periods and the wheelchair access is not available. Sadly thats in a lot of places. Often traveling and touring places they have nowhere to sit. This thing can just be whipped out of the back pack, open/unfold (super easy) and poof your seat is ready. This little stool is fantastic! I think I'll find a lot of uses for it. I got it to take to a festival with me, in case we wanted a footstool, or temporary table, or extra seat. Be aware that when it's folded up, it is 16.5" long because of the way it folds up, which was listed correctly in the dimensions the seller provided. That might make it a little long to throw in a tote bag, but otherwise it's pretty portable in its little bag. I plan to use this out in the yard when I'm doing the weeding, to keep me off the ground. I'm 5'2" and 135#, and I found this stool to be extremely comfortable, as did my mother (I'm ordering one for her as well, at her request). ... show more

    • Can't live without my little stool

I had hip surgery awhile back which has made standing for long periods of time very painful. This little stool has been a godsend. It weighs next to nothing and sets up instantly. I can just tuck it under my arm and it can go anywhere with me. My husband and I voted early this year (in person voting) and I took my little stool in case the line was moving too slowly. I find myself using this thing all the time...don't know how I lived without it before. It goes camping with me, and I am a wildlife photographer who takes my little stool pretty much where ever I go. I even took it to Yellowstone on a photography trip. I traveled with friends who brought big clunky folding chairs that took up a ton of space in the car. My little stool was more functional in the park and took up almost no room. For reference, I weigh about 150 pounds. I wouldn't trust this stool with more than about 200 pounds on it. ... show more

We got these to use as foot stools to our patio and camping chairs. The print is nice and the canvas seems quite durable. They work ok for that purpose but I wish the stools locked open. They fold up a bit in the middle when you put your feet on them however, they are still usable and aren't too uncomfortable. They are lightweight and easy to use and store. ... show more

Overall it's what I was looking for. This thing is very small, which is the only reason it's lightweight. For reference I put my size 10.5 hiking boots next to it. I'm 5'11, 175 and because the surface area is so small, people with a larger derriere will likely find this uncomfortable due to having to sit on the leg posts at the corners. It does feel sturdy for such a small item and time will tell how well it holds up, but sitting on it doesn't leave you feeling as though it will give out at any moment. I travel to NY to sell/display my products at a convention once a year. Renting a chair is absurdly a lot of money, it’s insane how much it is to rent a chair for 4 days. I use this stool frequently in the yard gardening, I light it's light weight, it's stability, and appears durable although I have only had it for about 3 weeks. This camping stool is compact and lightweight. We kayak camp and only have so much space for our camping gear in our kayaks. It has its own carrying bag and folds up easily back inside.
