Well...very easy to put together.I had to buy the griddle,stove and bbq box separately but it was pretty close to the price of the tailgaiter model so don't wait ...2 days delivery all 3..Griddle is kinda seasoned I didn't do much but spray it down after sitting in the sun with some some.pam.. Wipe it down good a few times it'll be alright ....it's cast iron not rocket science...burners take some getting used to they go.out if your not watching...that's not unusual....I basically took this out of the box and 15 minutes later I was making bacon,brats and a baked potato...baked beans in the bbq box...I dont have an issue with the legs being uneven it sits in stone just wiggle it a bit.The hole in the griddle for grease to drain is in the left front corner...unless you tilt that way it will not drain...the back of the 14" griddle has a large trough catches all the grease from.the bacon I fried .. It's very easy to soak.it up.with a couple paper towels ....the hole in the front left just seems awkward I like the grease going toward the back leaves the food less oily.1 # of bacon is mostly grease .Just soak.it up.im the back and toss it in the trash what you dont want.Dont be getting all fancy with this thing it's a big ass propane stove you can use your own griddle ..cast iron skillets...pots and pans ...you can heat up the griddle and put pots pans and skillets on it.Mark the knobs might help to know where 350 degrees ....nothing below that cooks well ....that's the minimum...the bbq box is great for keeping stuff hot and made some awesome beans and a baked potato.Lot of folks complain about the wind guard but I have not got that issue.It is hard to see the burner to light it when you are set up...get the long lighter you hafta bend over and look from below if you have your griddle and bbq box on Pain in the ass. My only complaint I saw some videos of these with people using an infrared heat sensor to see what the temp.was....don't get silly it's a skillet and a oven in the simplest form if you can cook .....if you are you looking for a pretty basic stove that can don't all I'd say get this.one...No doubt I haven't used it much but after one time I find it to be durable and pretty well made... The bbq box is pretty awesome it is like a home oven and has a nice thermometer built in..actually quite a heavy item. You can use your own skillets..pots .pans with just the stove but the bbq box and 14" griddle are very nice....still working on the bbq box as far as what to cook...making baked potatos. .Like I said don't get too fancy with this thing. .it is a bad ass outdoor propane stove you can do anything with if you can cook .I bought the bbq box..14" griddle and the stove itself for 357$. ..camp chef did not have the tailgater which is the same 3 items...but seriously..if you have a propane tank you be 5 minutes and this thing is cookin...Definitely get the grill box...I give this thing thumbs up first day using it ....put it together 5 minutes....watch the flame 🔥 it goes up and down....go to harbor freight get some magnetic hangers hold yer stuff on the side for 3$.Definitely get the bbq box....u can use your own skillets and griddle and pots and pans..get the box...good stuff 😀 👍 . ... show more

I have a new office with private parking two blocks from the MSU football stadium and decided it might be fun to host "tail gate" parties for clients. Thus I was looking for a stove that could cook things quickly but also could be easily picked up and stored in a closet / file room when not in use. This unit has worked well for that purpose and is now hibernating for the winter. I also anticipate using it for my Rotary club events or other group outings. While I was at it I also ordered the windscreen, a BB30Lgrill box, a CGG16 cast iron grill / griddle, a Lodge Logic grill press with a spiral metal handle, spatula, flame diffuser, a pair of red side panels and a CB60 carry bag for the stove. All have worked well (though I've not yet had any need for the diffuser). The stove seems solid enough to last a century, yet it stores nicely in the carrying bag which has sleeves for the legs and a windscreen. The carrying bag is strong enough to carry the stove as if holding a gym bag. The manufacturer is not kidding when the directions say to open the propane valves slowly due to a blowout prevention system; open them slowly and it works fine. The individual legs lengths can be adjusted a couple inches,via thumbscrews, for uneven ground. The grill griddle combination works well; I actually am preferring the griddle side so that I can saute onions and peppers at the same time as a couple burgers or easily change from one food to the other. The cast iron press is kind of an antique (wire handle more durable than wood) that is functional for cooking burgers, etc. quickly. It only covers one burger or grilled sandwich; I should have ordered two. The grill box is not as heavy duty as other items, but it works. Come to think it, if it were made out of cast iron it might be too heavy to lift! I used it for satay (precooked frozen) shrimp on (metal) skewers, which can be made ahead of time and quickly cooked and the grill box did that fine. The main reason I'm taking time to write this review is the great customer service from the Camp Chef company. My stuff arrived missing one bolt assembly and one screw. The company quickly sent me the missing screw and a whole new handle package for the grill box. (The design is quite basic so I had substituted some larger bolts from my junk bin, but it's nice to have them all the same size.) Thus I'm glad to recommend the product. ... show more

The products by camp chef are great. I bought the double burner stove with the organizer table, a griddle, and the folding wing attachments and the products all rock. The metal parts are sturdy and not thin. The burners are huge, you could cook an entire seafood boil on a single burner in no time at all. The only issue I discovered on assembly was the stove legs have a screw for tightening the leg attachments to the stove and the threaded nut the screw goes into is pretty mid. It is tax welded to the stove with 4 welds and if you tighten the screw down too much you can rip the nut right off. After a little investigation I discovered another leg had cracked welds on the nut so they probably have poor quality control on the welds there.
