If I could sleep on this thing I would LOL, very durable, no holes, it swells up all thick and fluffy, light and easy to pick up for cleaning, toss in washer and dryer as needed, my mother has probably ten of these around her house and chihuahuas always laying in one, multiple chihuahuas can fit in one, bright colors have lasted through the last couple of years. This is such a cute pillow and my dog loved it. Unfortunately, he loved it a lot...literally. I have a small brown male shih-tzu puppy, and I was surprised to see him humping this pillow at such a young age. He doesnt hump anything else...just this pillow. Sadly, we took it away. Otherwise it is really soft and a great pillow. I mean I get it, if I was a small fluffy puppy I'd probably be into this pillow too :) ... show more

The picture is of an 8.5 lb pup on the 24 x 24 inch size bed. She is about 20 inches long, (not counting her tail). She likes to curl up in this thing, seems very cushy, and it is just small enough that it can easily be washed in a regular sized washer with an agitator. We got an awesome lightning deal on this, otherwise I probably wouldn’t have taken a chance on it. Glad I did! Dog approved. ... show more

The rainbow bed was purchased a couple years ago and the purple one just arrived today. Both look really small but they are supposed to be. They are meant to encompass the animal and give them a comforting hold. I have open flat beds for my animals and they do use them but they all love to get inside of the donut and snuggle down in it. I don’t think they would like it as much if it was a larger one. I have 2 dogs and 5 indoor kitties and they all love this donut bed. The rainbow bed looks really nice and fluffy. Only because I just spent about 90 minutes on brushing it out. It was looking pretty motley a couple days ago when I decided it needed a good through something. It has been washed at least a dozen times since I bought it and after awhile the fuzziness wasn’t so fuzzy anymore. So a couple days ago I sat down and vacuumed it very thoroughly and then I decided to try and use the slicker brush on it. The effect was very noticeable and I brushed it down and then vacuumed it again. I tossed it in the washer and then dried it. It was clean but it still wasn’t as fuzzy as it once was so I sat down and using the slicker brush again I spent about another 45 minutes brushing it out. As you can see by the picture of it that it turned out beautifully and better than I expected. I decided that a second donut would be greatly appreciated so I got the purple one for my fur babies. So if you want to keep it fluffy and new looking then I highly suggest that you use a slicker brush before and after a washing to maintain it. A little Tip about cleaning and brushing the inside bottom of the donut. I started by using my knee to push the bottom up enough to make it easier to use the slicker brush. Then it dawned on me that a basketball would be perfect to use and placing the donut on the ball allows for a perfect surface to use the slicker brush on. Give it a try it really helps. I would highly recommend this bed for others and I only wish that it came in adult people size because it looks and feels so soft. One last thing. Ms. Tee left a review with a video of her doggie rejecting the donut. I wish I could let her know personally that she has the bed upside down. Her fur baby would probably be happier if it were right side up. Hopefully she will see this before she returns her donut. ... show more
