  • Very Nice General Purpose Modulation Guitar Pedal
Color: CP506
The Caline Multimod is a very useful general purpose analog modulation effects pedal that isn't very noisy. Comes with 7 different types of very commonly used modulation effects. This is just your regular everyday modulation pedal with a dedicated rotary switch for selecting the effect you want and three knobs to control the rate, depth, and mix levels. The effects: 1. Chorus - Very decent sounding chorus, albeit not the biggest depth or the fastest modulation rate in the world - but overall a fairly warm sounding chorus. 2. Flanger - Not as good as my old Boss BF-2 but that's a dedicated flanger and probably one of the best ever made; it's not a fair comparison. Still, this is a very usable flanger nonetheless - no complaints. 3. Phaser - Can create some pretty nice wah and sweeping effects like any decent phaser can. Not the most intense depth I've heard in a phaser, but still can get fairly beefy. 4. Doubler - I consider this effect the clear winner on this pedal. Best described as the chorus with much heavier depth and fuller sound. I don't feel that it really sounds like two guitars - but all the same it's very nice for getting a much wider sound on guitar or bass. This effect is worth the price of this pedal alone. My favorite of the seven effects offered on this pedal. 5. Vibrato - Actually produces some pitch modulation which not all vibratos do (which makes such vibratos sound more like glorified tremolos). Pretty decent. 6. Tremolo - I like this effect a lot also, but it does tend to favor the square shaped waveform. What this means is, while it can get the sine wave shape - you will have to turn the dial pretty far to the left (say around 9 o'clock) to really get the more rounded tremolo. Not an issue for me personally - but could be for some. 7. Pitch - The most oddball of the bunch. If you are planning to use this for harmonization, you might want to think again. It's very fiddly to get it in tune when shifting notes and it would probably be more useful just for that occasional oddball effect. However, I have found that it works quite well when not shifting notes and just using it as a detuner - I would use this when I need some modulation but with a lighter intensity than a chorusing effect. Overall, I consider the Caline Multimod a very useful modulation pedal that serves well either as one's only modulation pedal or a catch-all modulation stomper on a pedalboard. Yes, there are less expensive modulation pedals out there that have more effects - but the difference in sound quality and usability in the Multimod definitely sets it apart from those cheaper units. • 2 string “Dumble” OD
Color: CP502
Never played a real Dumble, but this is a decent sounding warm OD with plenty of tonal options. Does it sound or breakup like a tube amp? Not really. But has a good dark, “warm” mid voice. Gets noisy as gain is increased. Like, Big Muff no noise gate can help even when muted noisy. But if used to punch up a rhythm or lead in and out, you should be fine. Set gain low as always on and stack other drives into it. So, yeah, it’s stackable. Again, built solid, sounds good for price. ... show more

  • The creamy overdrive ive been searching for
Color: CP502
This pedal replaced the Danelectro Daddy-o OD that' live on my humble little electric pedalboard for decades .i finally gave up on trying to get the type of OD tone out of it and got the Mellow Drive . This overdrive can be dialed in to give perfect soft overdrive unlike the danelectro daddy-o ( a clone of the marshall guv'ner) which is very brittle and tone coloring. despite the ability to dial in many different tones i could never get the one i was really after...... The mellow drive does exactly that ....it's mellow and it delivers beautiful creaminess that doesnt nessessarily boost your vol (unless you want that) but instead adds that 'soft around the edges' tone that really does a fine job of emulating the sound of driving vacuum tubes in a cleaner style amp like a twin reverb or a princeton......some people say it's like a dumble .......i wouldnt go that far though . The price was great , the built quality was top notch and the tone is very serviceable for my needs .....btw i play thru a 15 watt 1-10 Vox pathfinder with the top boost on and the drive on the amp turned to about 2 and the vol at about 3 -5 ........sounds great. If your looking for a mellower type of over drive pedal to add a little soft distortion this pedal will get you there .....i use it in front of the compressor sustainer on my board btw ... show more

  • Great addition to my music room.
Color: CP510
I have been wanting a music room for a long time. A couple years ago, I finally stopped renting and bought a condo. I said I would have my music room. My family no longer would live in acoustic silence. I recently, minus soundproofing the room, got my music room going full blast. This came in today, and it worked great with my oldest daughter's Fender Stratocaster and the Fender 100 Rumble. We ordered a lighter amp for this pedal to better compliment this little guy. It's fun, it works, and the only thing that I hate is that it didn't come with a power supply, but that's par for the course. I don't know what hardcore and professional musicians say about this, but it works for us just jamming out in our little 10'x10' music room. ... show more

  • Reviews for the Simon Delay and the Reverb Machine
Color: CP513
Both of the pedals I purchased get a 3 out of 5. The ambient reverb machine creates a really cool shimmer reverb effect, especially paired with a compression pedal, however this reverb is also available on the Boss RV-6 as well as numerous other reverb types. If you want a fun shimmer reverb, the reverb machine is solid for $60 or so. The Simon Delay was pretty average, again a cheaper pedal type not nearly as good as the Boss pedals it is trying to emulate. I kept the reverb machine but returned the delay, each are 3 out of 5 stars as for the price they are fine. ... show more

  • Extremely good value and great sound
Color: CP506
I just got this and plugged it in and I am very pleased with the quality of the modulation effects this has. I didn’t expect it to be this good for a multi unit. All of the sounds are really good--even the "pitch" effect, which I thought would be kind of useless, can be set to some useable sounds. It’s love! ... show more

Great sound, quality and function. It is not a Boss but it doesn’t cost like a Boss. It is a good budget option
