This is the best neck pillow i have ever had for traveling. You can put it on or there are straps to put around a cars headrest. I flew 3 hours today and the flight was very early. I knew I needed to sleep and I couldn’t find my other neck pillow. This was one of 5 that could be delivered yesterday in a few hours. This cradles your entire head. You spine is kept in alignment and no neck pain. It is so comfortable to wear because of the flat back. That allows you to to sit in your seat without your neck in the right position. A big extra is you get a case to keep the pillow in and it can clip right on your carryon or purse. It takes a little figuring out to get in the case but so worth it. I don’t have to worry about carrying something extra to the gate.If you get this travel pillow you will never get another. I am looking for a travel pillow that will work with my Sony over the ear noise cancelling headphones model WH-1000XM2. I am female, 5”4” I ordered the following pillows: 1. Alpaca Memory Foam Travel Pillow. The issue with this is that I cannot make the pillow tight enough, at its tightest setting. 2. MLVOC Travel Pillow 100% Pure Memory Foam Neck Pillow. This one has an odor like you just painted a room with latex paint. The issue with this is that I cannot make the pillow tight enough, at its tightest setting. 3. Cabeau Evolution Cool Travel Pillow. Very comfortable pillow, but does not work with my headphones at all. If I wasn’t going to be wearing my headphones, this is the pillow I would choose 4. Cabeau Evolution S3 Travel Pillow, Memory Foam. This was my runner up. The pillow had great neck support and works with my headphones (I do tilt the headband back or forward so the ears sit at an angle), but it squished my ears and I think that would end up being annoying on a long trip. 5. BCOZZY Memory Foam Chin Supporting Travel Pillow. The winner. The pillow has Velcro to stay closed so it supports my neck, doesn’t sit too high and works with my headphones (I do tilt the headband back or forward so the ears sit at an angle). ... show more

Testing out this neck pillow while just at home, I thought this would be great for an upcoming overnight flight. Felt secure and supportive. However, I should've paid attention to the interviews about the back of the pillow being an issue when in the plane seat. It's too thick and cranes your neck forward, making it totally useless on a flight. Because it forces your head forward, you're leaning on your chin on the string tightening component at the front, which has no support and results in the same neck pain as always. Plus, the high neck support knocks your headphones/earbuds out. I just ended up using it to lay on my tray table and in the seats at the terminal on my layover. Definitely recommend finding an alternative with a flat back-of-neck section. ... show more

YES, it does keep your head from flopping and in comfortable position when used in seated/upright chair. I don’t use it that way. It was my (favorite) nighttime sleeping and travel pillow until foam separated into two sections (inside zipper cover). Bought new one as replacement. New cover with straps for seated headrest makes it uncomfortable and very stiff for my recumbent sleeping purposes -(and its foam also has separated into two pieces in a very short period of use). ... show more
