I have about 10 travel pillows... and only about 2 are any good (I just keep trying). I was using the one that wraps around your neck like a scarf (Trtl). Works ok for a bit, then it bunches up, gets hot & doesnt work right. Fail. I fly A LOT and I can't sleep to save my life. It's a problem. Also, I have a long-ish slender neck & it seems most pillows are sized for men, and the foam ones are so hot... I can't stand to have them on. This one isn't bad - the open space with mesh really helps. I can cinch it up fairly snug & it isn't anywhere near as hot as the regular foam ones. I can lean my head back, to the side or even a bit forward and feel supported. It's not bullet proof (turbulence is going to wake you), but so far It's the best I've found. It wasn't cheap, but neither was buying 10 pillows. ... show more

This pillow actually keeps your head from tipping over and keeps your neck from becoming strained. As you can see in the picture, the pillow will likely come up over your jaw (unless you have a very long neck) so it will keep your head upright. And as you can also see, the poor fella in the background needs one badly lol. Regular travel pillows tend to slip out a lot. At least for me. We have several that are basically pointless. But this pillow stays put. For reference, my husband is 5’10” with a an average neck length. I’m 5’1” and I love my pillow too. You might look a little silly, but at least you’ll be comfortable. As someone who travels over 180 days a year, I can confirm you need a large stretchy travel blanket, an eye mask, some headphones, and this pillow. Now you can KTFO like a pro…zzzzzz. ... show more

I have both this and the Cabeau Evolution Memory Foam Pillow and this review will be to compare the two. -Construction: The classic pillow is pretty simple- a memory foam neck pillow covered with a velour like black material and with adjustable cinch ends that simply pop together. The evolution is clearly more complex, with what feels like a more durable material on the outside (the velour material tends to have 'stretch' marks) and a L-shaped cinch- of course, it also has flow through sections for temperature control. -Storage: The classic pillow comes with a small stuff sack for you to kind of roll and put the pillow in. The evolution comes with a way better solution- a fairly beefy case that you roll up the pillow and put in that zips and holds its shape very well. The case also has some additional storage on the inside- for example, the package comes with a set of earplugs that fits in very well into the case. You can also have wireless earphones or the like. This is way superior to the classic's stuff sack -Feel: I have mixed feelings about the evolution. First, as far as its main improvement (cooler feel)- it is significantly better than the classic pillow. The problem with the classic pillow is that it encompasses your entire neck- the combination of thick foam, no air spaces and the velour cover does get pretty warm and can be problematic in airplanes. The evolution is significantly better because it only touches your body at the top and bottom, with the thinner profile/cross section in the middle mostly not cushioning your neck and instead allowing lots of air flow. That in combination with the feel of the material is much, much cooler. That being said, this style of pillow is not as comfortable. Whereas the classic had a cozy, soft memory foam feel; the evolution is much harder and has some pressure points on different parts of your shoulder and neck. This is how the pillow holds your head up. I am honestly not sure how to reconcile the two designs for a "best of", but I did find myself with a bit of neck pain when sleeping in the evolution pillow whereas for the classic (in cooler temps) I had a much better sleep. The other issue I had is that the "L" cinch at the front was a bit more fiddly to take apart compared to the classic pillow. Overall- I don't think this moved 'the game' onwards as far as neck pillows are concerned. Sure, it solves one of the biggest issues of the original classic (the heat and subsequent sweat on your neck when you're sleeping in warmer conditions, the sad stuff sack), but it introduces some of its own (slightly more pressure points, not quite as comfortable sleep). That being said, this is probably mostly down to preference and opinion. While I prefer the classic, my wife has a overheating issue with the old pillow but was much more comfortable overall with this new one. I'm still looking out for the perfect pillow though. ... show more

This pillow is easy to carry, very comfortable and very adjustable. you get to snug this up in a way that lets you decide if you head will stay straight up, bob down a little or a lot. The high side parts offer so much stability. There is no way this slips off of you, because it cant. I love it.

I like the travel pillow but it is not as comfortable as some other ones I tried. Also I thought it had a magnetic clasp but one I got had a button and pin. That button and pin comes detached all the time with the slightest pull. Everything else is good. I like the case it come with it. I like that you can unzip the shell and pull the foam out. I also use that to store the earplugs that comes with it. If it were not for the attachment and material I would give it 5 stars. ... show more
