I have two versions of white curtains with a white net overlay. The photo on the left is a different brand (Caterina), the photo on the right shows this curtain (Bujasso). You can see the light bleeds through the left curtain but not the right one. The photo makes it appear dark gray, but it doesn't look like that in real life (it looks white). It DOES totally block the light. The white of this curtain is a bit "cooler" (towards blue/gray) than the left one. And, the second photo shows this curtain has a scalloped edge. love how well these work! i got white and they keep out virtually all sunlight. they are very pretty with the mesh layer, has an elegant girly look. with that said, i don’t love how the tops of these curtains look in person. the rings are kind of big and gives a bit of a shower curtain feel. could probably be fixed with some led string lights tho. ... show more

Maybe it's just the color I bought, but they definitely did not "blackout" our room. It could also be that we have an east/west facing house. I wanted to love them because they're cute, but they're just alright. I have the beige curtains for reference.
