The multi-positions upper spring hooks can be arranged for ultimate flexibility to fit "factory" coil spring configurations. • 700lbs no sweat
Been shopping on amazon for awhile for something that would work on aftermarket shocks and this is the one to get. It works on coils that have real tight spacing and you can offset the 6 arms on a X-Y-Z axis to get a nice consistent compression. I adjusted springs rated at 700lbs without any issue and the force required to compress the spring was a fraction of what normal spring compressors took. Amazon seems to be shipping this via Prime and got this next day in SoCal. ... show more

  • Best you can get.
Great tool, you can't be wrong if you decide to get this tool, change a strut in 5 minutes and most important very safe, I decide to get the stand so I can move it if need to, been a mechanic for 25 years I can say surely Branick 7600 is the best you can get to swap struts for any vehicle, love the adjustable head pins, with 30 struts replacement I consider will get my money back and then will be all profits for years to come, great value , I know you can get cheaper tools but they lacks quality and safety, I highly recommend this product if you are a automotive mechanic, if you will use it once then I recommend you take your struts to someone who have it and for a little fee you'll make your life easier. ... show more

  • Definitely safer route if you can afford
Overall great product. Nice quality made in the U.S. I've always hated doing suspension work with those cheap Chinese tools because you never know when those are gonna give. With this tool I feel much more confident. Buying this product is definitely a cheaper route than if I got hurt and had to go pay the hospital a visit. You can definitely squeeze these through much tighter coils compare to some of the other tooling. Im using it to compress a 700lb spring on my lifted truck for adjustment and it does great doesn't struggle one bit ... show more

  • Branick 7600 compressor
I’ve done a bunch of struts with the little ones and always got it done even though it felt sketch on a few. You might think this is a bit expensive for a DIY person maintaining their own vehicles, but once you have done a job with one of these you will wonder why you didn’t spend the money on it a long time ago. Super sturdy and definitely worth every penny even for the DIY folks. ... show more

  • This is better than the OTC spring compressor
I love this spring compressor! Bought this for my shop. Way better than the one by OTC and I love OTC tools. Comes completely assembled, just screw in the top handles. I hung mine on the wall. Super easy to set up and use. The only thing I did was grease the screw and bearing. I bet I'll only use this ten times a year and it's still worth every penny. ... show more

  • Great professional tool. Can't think of any way to improve the design.
Compact. Easy to use. So far, we haven't come across a strut we couldn't use in this compressor. Unlike our last compressor, this one doesn't make you feel like you're risking your life every time you use it. Positioning of the springs feels secure. The only problem we have is how high to mount it on the wall. Tall guys complain because they have to crouch down to set up the strut. Short guys complain because they have to reach up too high to rotate the handle. Can't make everyone happy. ... show more

  • Best strut spring compressor you can get
This the the best lower-cost strut spring compressor you can get. And avoid the danger of the very risky options of the cheap options available for use from the local parts stores. Not for the one-time job, but well worth the investment if you’lol be using it somewhat often (or buy in on it with several friends). Highly recommend! ... show more

  • MAKE HARD WORK EASY!
This Branick 7600 Spring/Coil Compressor was the best investment I've made in a while. It made the tough job easy and really saved me time. I expect to use this often and appreciate the good quality product.
