This Bradley Smoker vertical digital smoker is the perfect smoker for those who want to enjoy delicious smoked foods, but don't have the time to tend to a live fire for hours on end. It offers generous cooking space spread over 4 different cooking grates - more than enough space to cook for a party of 8 or more! The insulated double-wall construction makes this electric smoker 10 times more efficient than leading smokers when filled with Bradley Smokers bisquettes - meaning you can fill the box just once, compared to refilling it 10+ times, and still get the same amount of smoke. With the Bradley Smoker smokebox, you can enjoy up to 9 hours of smoke before needing to refill, which translates to more time spent with friends, family, and guests. This BBQ smoker is everything you need! Measures 19 by 22 by 35 inches and 24 inches wide with generator attached. Cooking area measures 4 by 11 by 13 inches. • Even a BBQ Newbie Can Use!
I want to start by saying I’m a BBQ novice, but have wanted to try making my own for years. Our recent condo did not allow burning of any wood regardless of the amount. My wife purchased the Bradley Smoker for Christmas based on recommendations from several business colleagues from Dallas & Austin Texas. Assembly was as simple as can be. The digital control unit connects easily and three plug in connections completed the wiring. Assembly was very intuitive. The cooking racks are easy to install and very easy to clean. I popped them in the dishwasher after use and they came out spotless. Programming the control for cook time, temperature and smoke time is simple and intuitive. The outside temperature has been in the single digits and teens the four times I have used the smoker and the control has managed to keep the cook temperature within 10 degrees F from where I set it. There are a variety of smoking pucks available. We purchased Hickory, Mesquite and Apple wood varieties. The rest of the cook quality comes down to the methods you use for each meat type. Fortunately there are tons of YouTube videos available for every type of food you might want to smoke. My first attempt at smoking meat was a full Turkey. I was expecting mediocre results being my first time. I smoked the Turkey for 3 hours using Apple wood pucks. The total cook time was 7.5 hours to reach 165 degrees. The results were fabulous! I served the Turkey for Christmas dinner and it received rave reviews from everyone. In the past I have tried making ribs on my Weber gas grill with failure being the only consistent result. I smoked two full racks of pork ribs on the Bradley using the 3-2-1 method with excellent results. And I successfully repeated the process a week later. I can’t wait to try my hand at smoked Brisket. This has been the best Christmas gift ever!!! ... show more

  • Easy temperature control
This device has reaffirmed my outdoor cooking ego. It took some research to determine that this was the optimal smoker type for me. I decided that I wanted: 1. Portability, 2. Ease of use / minimal monitoring needed, 3. Easy temperature control, 4. Low fire risk / easy smoke source storage / wide variety of smoke sources. This led me to the Bradley, which uses 'bisquettes' as the smoke source. These are like little hockey pucks made of compressed wood chips. They claim to be cleaner / healthier than other wood chips / pellets with less creosote. The first four meals I cooked were jerk chicken with Caribbean bisquettes, brisket with jim beam bourbon bisquettes, pork butt with applewood smoke, and 'coldsmoked' salmon with alder smoke. Each was simple and delicious. The Bradley is easy to install - it took less than 10 minutes. 'Priming' the device took a couple of hours, and is recommended to be done a day or more prior to the first cookoff. The degree of control over this device is a big selling point. I set the time on the smoker and place 3 bisquettes per hour of smoking. I also bought the spacers, which help me save 1 or more bisquettes at the end that would otherwise be partially burnt. The bisquette are directed onto a coveyer belt that moves them one-by-one onto an igniter, where they sit and smoke until they are pushed into a bowl of water to distinguish them. The oven has its own settings, where I control time and temperature. The display lets me know the internal oven temperature too, which is essential for outdoor cooking. Despite all this I highly advise using a continuous monitoring thermometer. This will reduce the number of times you're tempted to open the door to check on your meat baby, which of course drops the oven temperature and lets out the smoke. I am hoping the Bradley gives me many years of enjoyment as the online recipe cache would suggest it will. It has definitely given me a new hobby with terrific early results. ... show more

  • Well Built, Easy to Use, Excellent Results
This is my first smoker and I did a good bit of research before I purchased the Bradley 4 Rack Smoker. My neighbor had one for over 20 years and he just loves it, that's a testament to its durability. It was easy to set up and came very well packed in its original carton. I did have one problem with the unit powering up when I received it. Basically there was no power, dead control panel. Having a degree in electronic engineering and electrical skills I opened the control box and traced the power feed, one of the push on panduit connectors had come loose. Simply plugged it back on and it was up and running. My first smoke dish was turkey breast and they came out perfect! Smoked food is not for everyone as I found out. I love it by my family can only tolerate it from time to time. The unit does an excellent job smoking and the digital timer really makes things easy. Temperature control does swing a bit, +/- 13% or up/down 20deg. I don't know how accurate the internal temperature probe is but its not in sync with my external probe unit from ThermoWorks. Either way I am pretty close to the set point I'm looking for. I bought a MasterBuilt stand and did a slight modification to it by adding rolling casters. The unit now sites 18" AFF and is super accessible. I can roll it around the patio and reposition it during cooking which is plus for sure. Check out the MasterBuilt 30 link, I did a post there too. https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00BJ28G36/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 This is a recommend buy, you won't be disappointed. ... show more
