I don't know how they do it, but it really does seem to make dry cigars moist again and damp cigars dry-er. 69% RH (relative humidity I guess) is just right for me.

These packs save a lot of time and worry. Combined with a Bluetooth hygrometer, just pick the desired humidity pack you want to maintain in your humidor. Throw a pack in and only need check once a month or so. When they start getting hard, refresh or replace. I use them in all of my humidors.
