Color: WHITE Wi-Fi Pattern Name: Infrared Heater
I use this in a 17x19 uninsulated sunroom room in the winter to host our annual party to give us more space and this heater GETS THE JOB DONE. Both years in a row we have had to turn the heater off because it was working so well and people were so hot. I also use this to regulate the temperature in our sunroom come early April to start my seedlings and it works wonders. It has an internal thermostat and regulates itself. I would absolutely recommend. We bought ours 2 years ago and the one just purchased was by my aunt who has a live in suite in the basement and struggles with temperature control and this surpassed her expectations and her space is double of the dimensions mentioned above. ... show more

  • So far so good...
Color: GREY Pattern Name: Infrared Heater
Review date: 5-24-2023. Generally I like the heater... I'd prefer an all white colored unit. But that seemed unavailable. Howerever, black and gray is my favorite color scheme. About the temperature calibration. It's off. I'm guessing, it's because these are made or tested were the altitude is higher. Or because it sat in the hot ups truck for a while. Myn showed 77f when it was 74f. According to four different thermometers. The third one in my main part of my house, about 10 feet away, said 73f. The 4th is a NCT type, but it's never been to the cal lab. I recalibrated the heater averaging these thermometers. It took several tries before it settled down. Also running the heater effects the heaters temperature. My flore is probably also cold compared to the room temperature. The feet are located in the box packaging end caps (in the white syofone). The directions for installing the feet could use some update. First collect the black plastic square piece and slide the feet into it (make sure the side with the tab will go towards the heater). Make sure the wider side of the feet is placed to the outside (this makes the heater more stable). Then assemble the heater as pictured/ discribed in the manual. Use the supplied thumb screws to atach the foot assembly. If thumb screws don't want to go in, it's because the foot is not centered in the correct position exactly on the heater. I was concerned that the blue LED display, that it might bother me, as I don't like blue LEDs. They're a pale blue color and not very bright. And you can dim or turn off the display anyway. It auto dims too. The fan in the heater is pretty quiet. But the fan cycles on and off sometimes and sometimes makes other odd noises then. But its not that bad. There's a lot of hysterics in the heater temperature setting. So it takes some getting used to. I had a few questions, so I called customer support and they did not pick up. I left a message, but they didn't call me back. This is the only bad thing so far. I live where the power is likely to kill anything plugged directly into an AC outlet. I bought a single outlet surge and noise protector designed for 15 Amp appliance, to protect the heater: 402043-WHT, https://www.amazon.com/Cable-Matters-Protector-Refrigerators-Appliances/dp/B09NP7VSNK Common surge protectors or extension cords, are not advised. Most of those are not rated for 15A continuse. So they are more likely to over heat and or catch fire. About the heater and power consumption. If the fan is on low and you can see the heating element glowing the heaters in the 750W mode. If the fan is on high, it's in the 1500W mode. Assuming its in the automatic mode. The actual wattage is slightly lower, when I measured it. My AC mains run between 121 to 123 VAC (slightly higher than typical), this might explain the lower wattage reading. The only real problem I had so far beside the uncalibrated thermostat was the display or settings froze. I unplugged the heater for 3 seconds and then plugged it back in. Problem solved. There's a reason all my electronic is plugged into surge protectors, or an UPS. No you can't plug the heater into an UPS. Good luck.... ... show more

  • Good heater !
Color: GREY Pattern Name: Infrared Heater
Works well, we live in a house built in the 1800's that gets very cold and only have one baseboard heater per room. This was able to keep our kitchen warm all winter and didn't draw too much power to where our breakers would kick. Is ideal for one room, and the thermostat helps it stay a certain temperature. It ran all winter every day 24/7 and still runs great. When you turn it off , it blows cool air to cool it off before it completely shuts off. ... show more

  • Nice heater
Color: WHITE Wi-Fi Pattern Name: Infrared Heater
I got it when expected. Set it up, pretty easily. Found the app QRC scan code and downloaded the app. Got it set up with no problems. Use the Alexa set up on their app, it works. Couldn't get it to pair using Alexa. It does put out good heat. Warmed a fairly large room with the outside temperature in the mid 50's. Using the thermostat at around 72 to 73 degrees. You may want to turn it up to 80 or so to get a larger room warm (above 70 degrees). It works like a central heat system. There is no schedule thing on Alexa. Didn't try the one on the app to set up timers. I used Alexa voice command to turn it back on in the morning and warmed up the living room for a couple of hours before I got up. I would recommend it. ... show more

  • Slim, wall-mounted, easy to use and perfect for small/medium space.
Color: WHITE Wi-Fi Pattern Name: Infrared Heater
We are really pleased with this heater so far. Bought for a bathroom as supplemental heating to main house heating. The product looks clean, smart and modern and functions just the same. The Wifi is a must and the main reason i purchased this device. The app allows you to control the heater from the phone but more importantly to schedule the device to turn on and turn off at preset times (like early morning), at your desired temperature, and on your choices of days (like "work days only" as an example). The heater works by radiant heat but also has a blower. The blower is not overly loud. There are 3 selectable modes for the blower/heat power: Low, High and Auto. Auto mode operates at full power (100%) until the room (ambient) temperature is within a degree or so of the set (desired) temperature and then it "throttles down" to 50% until the room is up to the desired set temperature. High and Low modes simply operate at High (100%) or Low (50%) continually until the desired temperature is achieved and the thermostat turns the product off, the same as a normal HVAC thermostat control. We simply leave it on Auto mode. The display panel is excellent, you can modify the brightness if desired (also from the app!). The current temperature is displayed and you can manually adjust the set level using the + or - keys (it's essentially a touch screen display almost). The new set temperature will flash for a few seconds for you to see (when adjusted) and then the display returns to the ambient temperature as the heater attempts to meet the set level. Both levels (set and ambient) are displayed together on the app so you can see what the room is and what your appliance is trying to get to. I put a new outlet in the bathroom wall and strategically located the outlet at the rear where there is a large cable storage area with a removable storage cover recessed into the rear plastic body of the heater. This way the cord and outlet are not seen when mounted and it is flush to the wall - it looks great this way and looks like it is "hard-wired" - i included a photo. Note that the rating is 1500Watts which is approximately 12.5 Amps so take this into account if you have other loads on your circuit for wire and breaker sizing but remember that this is a continuous maximum rating (100% power) and this product is not designed to run at 100% indefinitely (since it is thermostat controlled). Also be aware that any bathroom outlets need to be GFCI (although this device does not have a ground pin - it does not exempt an additional outlet from being a GFCI). As always, you should consult a certified electrician and adhere to all code regulations especially for bathroom, kitchen or similar applications. The only issue encountered was during initial wifi setup. When downloading the Smart Life app the initial app install asked for some generic global settings about locations services and out of an abundance of caution i declined some of them (security / privacy reasons). After 30 minutes of frustration trying to discover the device using the EZ connect method and then the manual AP method i finally realized that one of these settings was preventing the discovery of the heater on my network. I was just about to call the help line. (Under iPhone General Settings>Smart Life>Local Network slider should be "on" to "allow Smart Life to access". This is not in the App set up or in the product literature. If this is not set to "on" the heater will not connect at all. As soon as i changed it to on it became available. Since then the Wifi has been consistent and never dropped once in 2 weeks. When the unit is unplugged from the outlet for a long duration the settings remain and so the unit reconnects automatically without user intervention (in case of power outage). The unit is wall mount only but i believe that feet for floor standing are available for purchase from the seller via Amazon. In summary, this was a great purchase for looks, functionality, convenience and performance. Highly Recommended and i am not easily pleased! ... show more
