Smart, durable and simple to use, professionals never need to worry about how to setup or carry their miter saw ever again. The T4B features the same Bosch- patented Gravity-Rise system as the industry's award winning TS2000 Gravity- Rise Table Saw Stand. Unlike other miter saw stands, the Bosch Gravity-Rise system is practically effortless and allows for rapid set-up and breakdown in seconds. With a simple turn of the release lever and the user's guidance, the weight and balance smoothly raises the heavy-gauge steel and aluminum constructed stand and saw into working position. Set the leveling-Feet for uneven terrain and professionals are ready to get to work. Turn the same release lever again and the entire stand folds into a push cart design, complete with 8-Inch pneumatic wheels, perfect for transporting the saw over rough terrain from one location to the next. The T4B utilizes an aluminum support rail and special Universal Rapid-Release Tool Mounts designed to attach to the base of all Bosch and most competitors' miter saws. These mounts allow any user to quickly attach or detach the saw to the stand. And rubber- Feet prevent scratches when placing the tool on a cabinet top or bench. The same support rails expand for 18-Feet total material support, the highest among fully portable units. For users cutting long pieces of molding or flooring, this kind of support is priceless. Adjustable repetitive stops and table supports also allow the stand to adapt to varying applications and saws. See more

  • Great stand. Hard to imagine you'd regret the investment.
Style: Miter Saw Stand
I was hesitant to pay almost $400 for a stand, but found myself planning to swing by Menards on my way home from work to pick one up. My hesitancy caused me to do a quick search online for deals before pulling the trigger. I was happy to discover a $75 coupon on Amazon was available. Paired with 5% cash back on the Prime Visa, all my hesitance melted away! Set up took about an hour, and probably would have only been 45 minutes, had it not been 95 degrees and I'd not been in a hurry to get out of the screaming sun. If you follow directions and look at the diagrams carefully, it's totally possible to get it right the first time. I used the stand for the first time the weekend after purchasing it, and I've never had such a great experience working with my mitre saw. The stand is sturdy, durable, and the extending support arms made working with larger pieces of lumber a breeze. Really beats working on the makeshift table I'd put together for working. The ease of setup, closure, and transport makes me use my saw more frequently. Well worth the investment, and I highly recommend this stand to anyone looking for an upgrade or first purchase. ... show more

  • Best money spent
Style: Miter Saw Stand
I've been hesitant to buy this stand because of the price. Finally purchased it with a coupon, however, still a considerable deal of investment until I used it... What a surprise! Instructions were ok, however, the rail assembly gave me a hard time and, by installing bolts on the bottom first, it solved the issue. Since I have a 1 car garage, space utilisation is a top priority and having the chance to fold my saw away when not in use it's a great improvement for my shop. I've worked with 8ft stock, cutting at different lengths and the extensions were extremely firm on both sides. There's an adequate stopper for repetitive cuts but, I prefer marking all my cuts. Although I gave it 5 stars, there's one little thing I'd like differently: when folded, there's no rubber protecting the metal base. I would hate seeing my new and expensive stand scratched by the concrete. For now, it rests on a piece of cardboard. ... show more

  • Nice Product
Style: Miter Saw Stand
I recently purchased the Bosch Gravity Rise Miter Saw Stand & would like to offer some comments. Reading the comments of others who have gone before me was quite helpful in deciding what to buy, hopefully mine will help someone as well. Pros; * Great value for the price, by far the best miter saw stand available for under $300.00 * Well designed * Sturdy * Accomodates my saw as if it was made for my different brand name saw * Dare I call it ergonomic? It is easy to fold up with no stress to my back, no heavy lifting to open it from storage position * Has adjustable feet that enable a smooth transition from folded to open position * Has generous & sturdy extensions on both sides to hold long stock while you position, measure & cut it * Nice powdercoat finish, nice hardware, made to last * Rail mounting system makes removing or attaching my heavy & cumbersome compound miter saw almost effortless * The mounts that bolt to the base of the miter saw are relatively light & have rubber feet on them, so as to not mar other surfaces when not attached to rail on the stand. Cons (few); * Pretty darn heavy, if you have to put it in a vehicle by yourself, be sure to remove the saw first or use a ramp. * There is a powder coated portion of the stand that contacts the ground when the stand is folded. That surface will scratch, mar & wear off in a short period of time, then it will rust. If you use the stand indoors, the surface rust is a bad thing that will stain whatever you place it on. MY SOLUTION was to stop by an Ace Hardware store, buy 2 stainless steel carriage bolts (smooth rounded heads similar to bumper bolts on older cars) & 2 nuts with integrated washers. Drill holes in the areas that contact the ground, thread the the bolts into slightly smaller diameter holes with the nuts threaded on (washer side to bottom of stand) as stop points, so the carriage bolts won't strip through when weight is on them. The stainless steel is tough, won't rust, and won't wear down anytime soon. * Made in China! But then what isn't these days eh? It appears as though Bosch cracked the whip & required them to build these things correctly with good materials at least. * Wheels look to be a bit on the flimsy side, I will find out soon enough. If they are sub-par, I can replace them with sturdier ones. * Did I say HEAVY? Even without the saw attached, you will bust a nad & rip a roid trying to lift it yourself. Bosch should make the stand out of aluminum to lighten it up. Would likely cost more $ but would be worth it. * Assembly is a 1.5 hour task, I used a cordless drill with 13mm socket attachment, and 13mm rachet wrench, it made things easier. Overall, this is a great buy that I don't regret. I would recommend this to anyone who totes a miter saw around on a regular basis. ... show more

  • Well constructed, solid stand for a varity of miter saws.
Style: Miter Saw Stand
Really pleased with this stand over all. Assembly is fairly straight forward. A few simple tools and 30-45 min and it's up and ready to go. Some additional tweaks to some of the mfg assembly joints tightening the overall assembly yielded a much more solid and 'tighter' miter stand than others I've worked with. Leveled out the stand and proceeded with mounting my miter saw. While this stand was not designed to mount my Hitachi 10" compound miter saw, or any Hitachi from their provided compatibility chart, I was able to make it work with little effort through the use of a 1/4" aluminum base plate mounted on the provided rails. My Hitachi and many Hitachi miter saw employ a 3-point mount rather than the traditional 4-point on Dewalts, Milwaukee, and of course Bosch. My mod worked out perfectly I might add. I can still remove the saw from the stand with the mounting rails attached and not lose the rail alignment for a quick attachment back to the stand. This stand does cost a little more than others I've seen. However, as an Engineer I will say it's well engineered and utilizes good design and materials. The solidest miter stand I've used. Sets up easy, stores easy, and handily moves around. Cons to this stand; I don't care for the wheels. While I tightened the axil of the wheels they still see underrated, too much play (axial run out) for heavy contractor use. Although time will tell. Also I've found that the saw mounting rails do not slide easy on the main rail. A somewhat poor clamping system on these mounting rails that doesn't necessarily clamp parallel inhibiting the lateral movement. Likely to be one of your, certainly mine, least adjusted features anyway. Overall a highly recommended purchase. ... show more
