I throw these into my tackle bags and boxes to make sure I'll always have some way to clip lines. Although the spring arms are plastic they work fine. I do like how the blade can be removed and ran across a stone to smooth any burs from cutting something hard like steel wire.

This is my second set of these little snips. The plants I use them on are not bonsais, and they’re perfect for what I need them for. No hand fatigue, and the very sticky residue from my plants comes right off with rubbing alcohol. Just make sure to dry them really well or they will rust.
