Description

There is nothing like your houseplants being systematically destroyed by bugs. When you start to see the tell-tale signs, you reach for Bonide's Systemic House Plant Insect Control. This product kills insects that feed on plants, including aphids, whiteflies, scale, and more. Its formula is absorbed by the plant through the sap stream, providing protection for leaves, stems & roots. Bonide pesticide products are very effective and provide lasting bug control to your plants. This product is not an insecticide concentrate nor a spray, but it is a dry-application granule that is easy to apply without the worry of a chemical mess. Use this product by following the directions on the label. This is not meant for use on edible plants such as fruit or vegetables. Apply the product every 8 weeks during the growing season to produce the optimum protection against pests in your garden. 4 PACK

Top Amazon Reviews

  • No critters yet
Had an infestation of scale and this seems to be an effective deterrent.

  • It really works!
Tried sprays, they didn't get rid of the fungus gnats. This product did. Just sprinkle on the soil and water.

  • Keeping the mealies in check
Kills the bugs as they chomp the plant, so damage is still done but at least mitigated

  • Great product
I normally do not do reviews. I am doing this review because some reviews attempt to give the seller a bad reputation. Thank goodness I ordered prior to reading the reviews. Previously purchased from the hardware store...the container is not a full container. As a matter of fact it is a little less than half, but the weight is correct. You can tear up the seal when removing the cap. Great product for ridding plants of gnats. Only adverse effect is that plants can become excessively while the product does its job before next watering. ... show more

  • Scam?
I've used this product before and it works great. Though, my plant collection is going through a large scale mealybug infestation and I chose this option to save some money just to find out that they are all half full. Very disappointing and never buying this product again from this seller.

  • GREAT STUFF. REALLY WORKS.
I have many, many plants at home and after bringing in a new plant, a full blown plant mite infestation took over my house. I tried a number of non-toxic products, but the plant mites increased daily. The label says it is toxic, even if pets would eat the plant leaves. I have several mini fruit trees in one room so I didn't treat them. This stuff is magic. Every mite in the plants that were treated were gone in TWO DAYS. That's incred ible. I'm going to keep the room where the fruit trees are closed off and let the soil dry out. Then I'll put a separate post of treated soil in that room. Then I'll have my plant mite free house back. Keep treated plants out of your pets' reach. ... show more

  • Only stuff that works
Only thing that works.

  • Lack of direction
Everyone I know recommends this stuff but no one seems to really know what the proper application is?? Kills soil gnats but they come back in a month. You end up applying more often than recommended and you risk burning your plants with the systemic. Slightly confusing.
