We needed more power for the new Nest gen 2 wired doorbell to ring our doorbell chime. Staying with 16 volt transformer, but tripling the volt amps with this transformer did the trick. I recommend.

My ring doorbell has gone through two transformers in a year. One was purchased locally, the second from Amazon. The Amazon unit said it was for Ring doorbells and it was a 30VA unit as was the local purchase. However, the Ring unit is labeled as 40VA. I haven't installed it yet as it is too darn hot in my attic right now! I will update later. ... show more
