I have used this hunting in rough terrain while coyote hunting and really appreciate the light weight as I usually walk 10 - 12 miles a day. Needed a bipod for hunting from a blind. This one works very well. Has simple, easy adjustments for height. Very light to carry. The v-notch is rubbery and makes for a good shooting platform. The only negative I found was I usually take my sling off and if you have your rifle forearm in the v-notch and rest the butt of the rifle in your lap, the bipod will suddenly slip forward out to the barrel. There are small hooks on each side of the v-notch that you can hook a heavy rubber band to and up over the rifle which locks them together quite nicely. Or just leave the sling on with the pin out in front of the v-notch. I'd buy another. ... show more
