What a great product. I can listen to my records, my CD's and my cassettes. The sound quality is excellent. The value of this product is easy on the wallet.

    • Stopped working after 4 days
Plugged in to a surge protector and started playing CDs and radio right away. Sound quality was very decent but not as good as I was hoping given the reviews. I didn't realize it from the description but the tape player only fast forwards or plays which is a bit annoying. Also, the remote control does not control the power or volume. Anyway, It lasted about 4 days and then the power completely stopped working. I contacted Boytone to try to trouble shoot it and they told me to plug it in another outlet, which had no effect. They sent me a shipping label but did not provide an option to pay for packing material or respond to a request for it. I opted instead to return it through Amazon / Kohls and get my money back, and will have to hope that Amazon will return the CD that is stuck in the player to me.     • Turntable speed a little off
Overall, the stereo has worked well. The sound is good for the size of the speakers. I find that the turntable speed seems to be just a little slow.

    • Worth the money
It’s not the greatest looking, but works great for me. I have had no problems with it, even with reading the dials. My old one I had to use a flashlight.

    • Value for the money along with music format options
I purchased this stereo for my mother who is elderly and has cassette tapes she wanted to listen to. It is very easy for her to listen to some of her treasured older music tapes. So glad we could still obtain a stereo that does cassette, CD, AM/FM radio, and vinyl records.

    • Budget machine for beginners
Sound quality was not great through the speakers included. Kind of "tinny" sounding. Packing {even though it was double boxed) was poor and we found some broken plastic parts after unpacking. We returned it and bought a better machine. Very mediocre product and that's probably ok for some people, but not for our needs. It does have an 80's/90's kind of retro look and feel. I would have been THRILLED if I got this level of quality for Christmas as a 7th grader in the 80's. ... show more

    • Good sound
This was smaller that I thought, however does not reduce the value. Good sound. It was so nice to be able to play cassett tapes again. Bust out all the old vinyl records and have a jam session. Very easy to hook up. Light weight. Very much enjoying this addition.!
