Description

Save space and get a killer workout with the Body Power 3-in-1 Trio Trainer. This compact trainer can be used as an elliptical, an upright bike, and a recumbent bike. Each of the exercises possible with this unique machine is low-impact, making it perfect for people with painful joints. Its resistance can be adjusted magnetically, so it’s easy to get the workout you need. To switch exercises, simply adjust hand positioning or stand to tone different parts of the body. This makes it easy to get a multifaceted cardio workout effortlessly. Whether you prefer to work out in the garage or from the comfort of your bedroom, this machine doesn't take up much space. It measures 43.7" x 62.2" x 29.5". We designed this innovative machine with different sets of integrated handlebars for each workout. For the upright stationary bike, we included U-shaped handlebars, which are fixed in front and have a built-in hand-grip heart-rate monitor system. For the elliptical part of this Trio Trainer, we have included traditional dual-action independent handlebars. Finally, the recumbent bike handlebars wrap around the base of the reclined seat for a more relaxed and comfortable position, and the reclined backrest cushion allows for longer periods of fitness training. The simple electronic computer console mounted between the elliptical handlebars can track your calories burned, time, speed, and distance. The heavy-duty flywheel system is the same you'll find in professional indoor gym equipment. It allows this Trio Trainer to run quiet and make continuous resistance-level adjustments with the easy-to-use dial knob without skipping a beat. What you pay for is more than what you would get from a competitor's product. Follow the step-by-step process to assemble, or purchase the product already assembled for convenience. Try our Body Power, Body Champ, Body Rider family of products for all your at home exercise equipment.

  • great machine for the price
This is a quality machine. I recommend it over just an elliptical because it gives you the chance to sit and pedal when your thighs are burning. That being said, you get what you pay for. It is all mechanical so yes it's a little noisy, There is a belt that spins around a wheel. Not recommended for the upper level of an apartment building but it's fine for the user. This machine is not for a large person. I am 5"7", 170. Anything much more than that I can feel it would be unstable. Also, I wear a size 9 women's shoe. There is only an inch or so remaining on the pedal so a man with large feet would not be able to fit his foot on the platforms. The led display is a joke. You can't really see it but you don't really need it. Just set a timer and take your own pulse. Those things aren't accurate anyway. Assembly would have been impossible without the video. I did it myself, as a woman, but it wasn't easy and took hours. Had to label all parts first and then take things a step at a time. I would suggest you have someone who has general knowledge of tools and assembling things. And if you had to return it, it would be impossible. Luckily mine works fine. Been using for 30 days. No problems. You can get a sufficient cardio exercise and it's more diverse than just a bike or just an elliptical. But again, this is an inexpensive piece of equipment. It is home-grade and nowhere near the quality of gym equipment. Plus side is it has a very small footprint. And I received in 3 days. Good Luck! ... show more

  • Smooth And Sturdy But Arrived Broken
I'm writing this review after using the Trainer for a total of about 15 minutes on day 1. I'll update if something changes significantly with further use. The item arrived broken. As shown in the picture, the "encased" flywheel is surrounded by brittle plastic that cracked and shattered during shipping. The pieces in the second picture were inside the "encasement" when I took it out of the box. It's not a significant enough breakage to warrant packing this beast back up and lugging it around to return it, and it doesn't seem to have any effect on the operation, but it was less than optimal. That's really the only negative thing I can say about this. It is sturdy and operates very smoothly. Initial impression is very positive. Assembly was a workout on its own. It wasn't difficult, but it was pretty physical with bending and kneeling and maneuvering. I'm at about a 7 on a 1-10 scale of handiness with a fairly decent set of tools, and it took me about two hours from opening the box to hopping on. I watched the assembly video that was attached to this listing when I purchased the item to kind of get a feel for what the process would be like. I think that helped. The instructions themselves are very clear and straightforward, though, and the parts are well laid out and labeled right down to the individual bolts and washers. You'll get a little messy because things are pre-greased. If you've ever put furniture or other semi-complicated equipment together before, though, you'll find the process clear overall. Where you really get the "low cost" feel of the item is in the "computer." It's a very basic timer/distance/pulse thing. It's not going to give you a structured work-out or anything like that. That said, it does what it sets out to do well. Just don't expect more than it is. As for the actual mechanical aspect, this trainer really seems to outperform its price. When you're on and doing your thing, it doesn't feel cheap at all. It feels very sturdy and stable. I'm not a big or heavy guy, though, so YMMV according to body type, etc. For me, it's perfect and very stable. It makes very little noise when you're using it - just a woosh. I was very happy with that. I like to listen to music when I exercise, and this unit's silent operation lets me focus my attention on the music rather than on any annoying clicks or bangs. It is very smooth in operation. It adjusts at all the important points: The elliptical bars, the seat forward and back and the seat up and down. As long as you're in the range of sizes given in the description, it seems you will be accommodated. Except for the breakage during shipping, I am very pleased and impressed with this trainer. ... show more

  • Useless as a bike, elliptical function is passable
Staring with positives that made me give it 3 starts and not 1. Pros: - Not hard to assemble if you have some prior experience (my husband did it under 2 hours, said instructions were easy to follow) - bike seat is very comfortable - it's fairly compact and can be moved around by one person - elliptical works OK - not very noisy - sturdy enough to last at least a year Cons - Parts keep coming loose, have to tighten over and over again - Elliptical is wobbly so you cannot go fast - No resistance, which makes it useless as a bike - No customer servie Now, details, starting with the bike function. Resistance is almost non-existent. Rotate the resistance knob all you want, you will go from 0 to may be 1 and that's it. Called the customer service thinking the knob could be bad. Call goes straight to voicemail, and nobody ever called me back. This was early 2021, so may be it was the pandemic, but I never got any customer support. On a closer look, it seems that resistance is created by a thin, straight strip of felt rubbing against the front of the flywheel. The strip is very flimsy, and everywhere in instructions they caution you not to tighten it too much, or it will snap. Rotating the resistance knob pulls the strip closer to the wheel. How this flimsy strip contraption can slow down a very heavy flywheel in any noticeable way is beyond me. My conclusion, it's not a faulty part, it's just a bad design altogether. To be fair, husband says he can feel some resistance and for his 80 yo mom it could be a workout. To me (average female) pedaling the bike requires absolutely no effort on the highest setting, instead feels like be wheel almost rotates itself. As a result, I get no workout, strength or cardio, and the bike is useless. As an elliptical, it's OK. I've been using it for over a year, every other day, and it didn't fall apart yet, so that's as plus. Parts keep get loosened, I keep tightening them. My biggest complaint, It wobbles. If I try to go faster it becomes a balance exercise instead of cardio. I would not recommend it to people who are prone to falls. It's still a moderate exercise, and easy on my joints, and that's why I still use it. Overall, you can find a better way to spend your money. I do not recommend this product. ... show more

  • Pretty good machine for such price
The elliptical machine is pretty good. It does produce sounds when the machine is running, but it is pretty quite since it is still new.
