Ok I don’t know where to start! I did my research. I read a TON of reviews. I was DESPERATE, because I have a 4 year old daughter, who is very active and has long hair. Brushing that hair had become a torture session EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. I was literally on the verge of cutting her hair off because I hated to hear her cry, no matter how gentle I tried to be. She would see me bring a brush out and run the other way!! Until this brush!!! She calls it her “Magic Brush” and refuses to let me use ANYTHING else on her hair now! LOVE THIS BRUSH! We will never buy another. My 6 year old has THICK wavy hair & she hardly lets me brush through her whole head without crying, I’d have to spray it with leave in conditioner & it took like 20. With this brush she’ll let me brush her entire head & it only took about 1 minute & her hair was completely dry. She loves brushing her own hair now too. My 5 year old also thinks her hair is “magical” & brushes her hair for like 20 minutes with it because she loves it. Definitely never buying another brush. OK! Here’s the deal! I am 38 years old and I have a Medium Lakes hair and I have been dealing with this rats nest after the shower, no conditioner has ever fix the issue. I have brought this to the attention of my hairdresser multiple times and she just tells me that I need to buy a better conditioner, every single time! I’ve tried multiple conditioners and I’m still finding that none of them are taking away the big giant mess on the top of my head out the side of the shower. So this brush is awesome. I saw a FB ad for it, then found it on here for half the price. You get one black brush and one gold one. I have a 2 year daughter with thin hair and curly in the back, so when she sleeps, it gets matted and knotted in the back, so she absolutely HATES having it brushed. This brush somehow gets all the tangles out without hurting. I tried on myself with both damp and dry hair, and it gets all the knots out. It does have a little bit of static, but not NEARLY as much as I would normally have for it being the middle of winter. Highly recommend! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I NEVER write reviews. Ever. I have been searching for months for a brush that would detangle my daughter's thick, fine hair. Nothing has worked. We go through detangler like mad and usually tears are involved at some point when brushing. So I took a chance on these brushes and wow! We just got them before her shower and I WISH I had taken a photo of her hair before her shower, it was bad. She refused to let me brush it yesterday. This brush had her whole head brushed out in less than 3 mins and minimal squinting and squeaking. There was some pain because her hair was knotted and she's tender headed, but nothing like normal. I've posted a video of me using it. Pardon the mess in the background but at least you can tell we are just a normal family. Lol ... show more

I bought this based on reviews of people that supposedly have thick curly hair. This is a great brush for when I straighten my hair but for my usual curly hair, it does NOT get the knots out. I attached a photo so you can see my hair type (I was in CO so I was having good hair days). If you have thick curly hair, your better off using a wide tooth comb to brush your hair while in the shower (with conditioner). ... show more

I have a six-year-old with long curly hair. I have long thin hair that easily tangles, but her hair is another story. It’s gotten to the point we’ve considered cutting it short just to reduce the dread of brushing through it. But this brush, no joke, this is life saving. I have bad shoulders and bath time + hair brushing afterwards is usually enough to just wipe me out. This brush is amazing. I won’t say all tangles disappeared, but I was able to just brush through larger sections than when I brushed/combed before and it was soooo muuuuch easierrrr. This brush is the best purchase I’ve ever made of Amazon. It’s so much easier to brush my daughters curls I’m no longer remotely tempted to cut; and because it came it twos, I use one myself. I used to see constant hair lose in the shower. Rinsing out my hair just always resulted in lose strands coming off. The only thing I have changed was this brush and now I see none or maybe only one random hair come loose in the shower.
