  • Don’t order it. Bad product
Horrible. The bottom step doesn’t secure to the ladder. Keeps falling off. If this falls off and rips my liner. Someone’s going to have to pay. This is ridiculous. Horrible construction I’m afraid to put this in my pool. If it wasn’t such a pain to return I’d return it

  • Using with Intex 12 by 24 by 52
For the price the quality is acceptable . I'm 220 lb it feels very stable... the ladder that comes with the Intex pool scares The Living Daylights out of me, and I'm a construction worker... I don't fear a 40 foot extension ladder... I built a deck 2 inches above the pool ...this ladder is completely adjustable by cutting the top of the stainless steel tubes, where it goes in the fittings ...I upgraded to the steel fittings you might want to drill a hole into the top of the tube for the bolt from the steel fittings to go through the handles as opposed to compress and bent them.. Also I found by cutting the top a little short the ladder leans towards the deck ....making it much nicer to get in and out of the pool instead of climbing straight up a ladder A rubber mallet is very helpful when installing the steps the screws have a difficult time finding their way through... It took 10 minutes to build 20 minutes to install There are two round balls that go on the bottom, in the pool of the stainless steel tubes I would recommend epoxying them to the tubes,,, just go to Home Depot get the 5-minute two-part epoxy and slather it around the balls before you tap them on with a mallet That way if they ever pop off,,, the tube doesn't hit the bottom of the pool and puncture it... very important Do not epoxy the round Balls to the bottom step as it needs to Pivot to match the bottom of the pool Very happy with the ladder makes it a hundred times easier to get in and out of the pool when adding shock add a little bit extra around the pool ladder it seems too slow water flow around it there for more algae.. I also bought the little blue mat that goes under it ..it gives me security as to not rub the bottom of the pool in damage it slides around every week or two but takes 4 seconds to readjust ... show more

  • very sturdy, nice looking ladder
awesome pool ladder! cut about 12" off (miter saw) and removed one step (didn't want step coming out of water)....drilled holes through deck to receive hooked end (this holds it steady) and i did buy the metal deck mounts w/side screws to tighten down rails. also got marine epoxy to glue those balls on submerged end so they wouldn't come off. geez, and one more thing....i had to get slightly smaller washers to go behind the nuts on steps because the ones that came were too big. i guess all this adjusting i should deduct stars, but the end result is an awesome ladder! ... show more

  • Headache to assemble
The rails are not made correctly. The o.d. is the same size as the holes in the steps 1.5in. I had to shave off some plastic on every step in order to insert rails. Same issue with the deck flanges. Instructions say to drill a 1.5in hole in deck so the rails could pass through. Rails would not fit in the 1.5in hole. That had to be enlarged also. Instructions also say to tighten the set screw on the flanges to hold the rails. The supplied flanges do not have a set screw nor a hole in which to put one. ... show more

  • Great Ladder
Honestly, there were a couple of holes that didn't line up completely, but you just have to muscle it into place a little bit, really not a big deal. Once it's in, it is pretty sturdy, we had some people that weighed quite a bit more than the advertised weight load with no issue. Really great ladder. The bottom does come off easily, but if you install it correctly - that shouldn't be an issue, because it should sit flush on the floor of the pool. ... show more

  • Good, sturdy pool ladder
I don't know why people have given negative feedback about this pool ladder...it is by far the nicest pool ladder I've purchased. Lies flat on bottom of pool and does NOT float, it's sturdy and was easy to install. Assembly was a bit challenging but I'm a woman and was able to assemble it by myself.

  • Disappointed in this ladder!
The holes in the plastic steps we’re not finished well and we’re not large enough. There were loose pieces of plastic and we had to take a file and enlarge the holes in order to get the steps to slide on. The manufacturers suggestion is to use oil, But who wants to put oil in their pool? We haven’t put it in our pool yet, so we will finish this review once we have! ... show more

  • Pain to put together
The steps would not fit onto the poles without trimming. Good thing we had a dremel tool, had to trim all the holes bigger. Then once got them on, getting the bolts to go through the holes was a hole another problem. Finally got them on, then the washers would not go over the plastic lip on the step. Had to grind all the washers flat on one side. After a few choice word putting it together, it seems to be a nice sturdy ladder. At least for now. We hope after use, it will hold up! I think whoever made this product needs glasses, what would someone do that did not have the tools to make it fit right. ... show more
