We bought these because our dog loves to go in the pool and was getting too heavy to keep lifting in and out. They look great and work great! Assembly took some time but was fairly straightforward with directions. Not as steep as a typical pool ladder. Sturdy and a large safety gate that locks. The company has amazing customer service. Fed Ex forgot to leave the package with the piece that connected both stairs. They immediately shipped out another, which ups then lost. A bit expensive. Very sturdy, looks nice. The gate is wonderful. Was easy to put together with two people. Needs sand to hold it down in the water side.

LOVE! Love ! LOVE! Having disabilities made it difficult to use the a-frame ladder that came with our pool. This system makes it so easy to enter the pool, making pool time so much more enjoyable. I love my pool and now love it more because of the this pool entry system. Some of the directions could have been a bit clearer. Be ready with a screwdriver or power tool and a sharp blade to cut between the railing spindles where needed. All in all, easy to put together. Would buy again. Thanks Confer! ... show more

I am not sure how there are reviews here saying it was easy to put together. I received 4 boxes with 4 different sets of instructions, none of which were easy to understand. No parts or screws were marked. There were so many pieces you didn't know where to start. The pieces are poorly made and needed to be hammered in, then still didn't fit completely flush. I will say their customer service was excellent regarding the defective pieces (4 poles with big balls of plastic inside and you couldn't insert other pieces into). The premise of the ladder is good, manufactured horribly! Okay once together. For the amount of money I paid, I expected a little better quality. ... show more

Fortunately, my dogs caught on pretty quick, and it's much sturdier than a standard pool ladder for us getting in and out as well. Assembly was pretty easy, but I did need an extra hand from my father-in-law to help keep it steady when I was building the stairs.

We used this latter all summer it was great! I had the pool people come and put it together for me and take it down. It's well made and very good for heavy people.

I love these steps. They were difficult to put together but because you can attach them to a deck, you just have to pay attention to the directions to connect the 2 sets of steps to the bridge. It wasn't overly difficult. They are very sturdy and beautifully made. Can't wait until summer!
