We bought these because our dog loves to go in the pool and was getting too heavy to keep lifting in and out. They look great and work great! Assembly took some time but was fairly straightforward with directions. Not as steep as a typical pool ladder. Sturdy and a large safety gate that locks. The company has amazing customer service. Fed Ex forgot to leave the package with the piece that connected both stairs. They immediately shipped out another, which ups then lost. LOVED not having a thousand screws...my son and friend put it together in an hour. Slide and lock! Regular stair size is amazing. Don't have to worry anymore with a stupid ladder on the inside of the pool!! Highly recommend.

A bit expensive. Very sturdy, looks nice. The gate is wonderful. Was easy to put together with two people. Needs sand to hold it down in the water side.

I wanted stable stairs in and out of the pool. This definitely accomplished that. We have a 54" pool. Fits great. Easy for the lods to climb in and out. Three year old English bulldog can get in and out with her life jacket on haha. Took about 3 hours total to put togeher with 2 people but that included leveling into the pool. We found it easier to build one side and set it in the pool and then connect the other side. Built the gate last. We didn't want to use sand as we live in the north And need to yank that bad boy out come September. So we tied weights like a few other commenter's mentioned. We did 50lbs total I believe. Only issue is the weights are rusting! So gotta rethink that for next season. Saw a few other ideas. Otherwise it's perfect and easy to put togeher if following directions and have all the tools needed. ... show more

I am not sure how there are reviews here saying it was easy to put together. I received 4 boxes with 4 different sets of instructions, none of which were easy to understand. No parts or screws were marked. There were so many pieces you didn't know where to start. The pieces are poorly made and needed to be hammered in, then still didn't fit completely flush. I will say their customer service was excellent regarding the defective pieces (4 poles with big balls of plastic inside and you couldn't insert other pieces into). The premise of the ladder is good, manufactured horribly! Okay once together. For the amount of money I paid, I expected a little better quality. ... show more
