I purchased this item on October 23, 2023, to monitor my blood pressure readings regularly as per my doctor's request. Initially, it worked well for occasional checks, but as of July 1, 2024, it no longer functions. It now displays an error message and fails to inflate to take a BP reading. If you need to check your blood pressure frequently, this might not be the best choice. Buying cheap often leads to poor results and the need to replace the device sooner than expected. It's wiser to invest in a more reliable product from the start. I'll be heading to a major department store like Walmart or Target to purchase a new one and will make sure to keep the receipt for potential returns or exchanges. This item is very easy to use. I rated it 4 stars Because the cord to plug it up is extremely short, so it’s hard to keep your arm at heart level. However, it does take batteries. My only issue is it will say my blood pressure is normal even though the top level is elevated, it will only say high if my blood pressure is extra high.
