The blood pressure monitor is easy to use, has a large display and is accurate. I brought the blood pressure monitor into my doctor's office to compare it to their office machine. It was very accurate. The unit used 4 AAA batteries and battery life is good. The unit stores up to 199 pressures which can be reviewed individually. The instruction manual has good details and a quick start guide for users to jump right in a use the machine. The device will also record and store the average of the last 2 or 3 readings. I like that it can track two different users, and give the average of the last ten tests. I find that the readings are consistent with each use, and your average blood pressure readings are what should be considered when monitoring your pressure.
