  • Really does the job
Style: 15in. Bike Handle Mower
This is my first corded lawn mower, and it does take a bit of an adjustment not to run over the electrical cord. Once you overcome that, I was surprised how well it handled actually mowing. It’s light, so it’s very maneuverable, and was powerful enough to tackle a large pile of wet and dry leaves in the area I was mowing. I’m tired of bagging leaves each fall and was hoping this inexpensive little mower could handle mowing and mulching, and it does without any complaints. Additionally, the mulched leaves were ground small enough so they could be incorporated into my vegetable and flower beds, meaning no more leaf bags going to the landfill. My plants and vegetable garden area will benefit from the nutrients provided by the leaves. For the price, it really surprised me. Oh, and it was easy to put together out of the box. ... show more

  • Weeds turn into mulch
Style: 15in. Bike Handle Mower
Our yard was overgrown with tall 3-4ft thorny weeds. This little mower mulched them down! It exceeded our expectations for the price we paid. The handle bar grip is much more ergonomic and my husband said he had less fatigue compared to other styles. It's light weight and easy to use. Perfect for our small yard. ... show more

  • Good, Inexpensive Electric Mower
Style: 15in. Bike Handle Mower
This is a good, strong mower. I wouldn't want to do my entire yard with it because it has a relatively small cutting with (15 inches). We use it for the fenced-in portion of our back yard, and for maneuvering in between the raised bed planters. It's pretty beefy and I haven't had any issues with it getting stuck on tall, clumpy, or wet grass or leaves: it chews through everything I've run over. The only bits that I don't like about it are the cord (wrangling the cord and keeping it out of the way gets easier the more you mow, though); and the fact that the grass collection bag fills up in about eight seconds. If you take the bag off, grass clippings, mulched leaves, and ballistic acorns kick out a gap in the rear directly into your shins. This doesn't happen if you just let the bag fill up and keep mowing, so that's mostly what I do. Otherwise, for the price, you can't beat it. It's versatile, easy to get started again (unlike restarting a gas mower over and over), light, and maneuverable, with excellent cutting ability and strength. Get yourself a long extension cord (I use a 75ft) and keep the bag on, and you'll be golden. ... show more

  • You can't know for sure if you get a battery powered or corded....
Style: 15in. Bike Handle Mower
So many of the answers in the questions and answers section implied battery powered, so I asked. Is this batter powered or do I need an extension cord, several people who bought it said it comes with 2 batteries. Well what I received is corded. I have to use two extension cords to be able to reach my entire yard. Thankfully the mower is fairly lightweight and small so that I can maneuver it OK with the cord. The worst part of this mower is having to deal with a cord while mowing. Other than that it works quite well. I find it to be quieter than a gas mower and much lighter weight. The bag does fill very quickly which is annoying and the package says not to use without the bag which makes sense as that isn't' safe to have the stuff it hits shooting out at you, if you hit a rock or stick or something you don't expect it could really hurt you. So please leave the bag on when you mow! Despite having to empty the bag often and the cord I do like this mower, it gets my grass cut. It does ok with small branches though super thick grass seems to give the motor a real struggle. I have carpet grass though it isn't super lush. I have one area that is crazy thick that this mower struggled to go over and nearly killed the motor. The motor does seem to have a safety shut off of some kind because when I accidentally went over a too high root sticking out of the ground it turned off so my blade didn't get ruined or anything. So yes I like the mower, you can't be sure if you will get a battery powered or corded though it seems, and the bag filling to quickly is annoying but at the same time I feel my yard looks nicer without all the clippings all over the place so that is a plus. If you don't mind those things then yes, this is a great mower. I do enjoy it despite those things. ... show more

  • I like it so far.
Style: 15in. Bike Handle Mower
So far so good. I didn't really want a battery operated lawn mower because batteries can go bad. I was hesistant to use a corded electric mower. I am impressed. At first I thought the cutting size was too small but it turned out not to be a bad thing. My previous mower was just too wide to fit through some spaces and this one fit in small places. The smaller width didn't make the mowing longer. Yes it is almost all plastic but it seems sturdy. It is much easier to push than other lawn mower and so that is another plus. By the way, the cord didn't get in the way. ... show more

Effectively got the massive job that a lawn company quoted me almost $400 for. Definitely worth the buy. Don’t forget to buy a long enough extension cord when you purchase this

  • A complete plastic mower
Style: 15in. Bike Handle Mower
My 7 year old electric mower died and the same model is out of stock. I decided to give this B&D a try. It is much cheaper, and of course made much cheaper in quality. The whole thing is nearly plastic. Pros: light, easy to assemble, took me 5 mins. small enough for tight places cons: feels really flimsy, the blade is made of paper thin metal, also not enough power. I couldnt get a clean cut of a small lawn with one pass. I say this because i just tried another brand and similarly small, much better. The handle is unnecessarily long and makes maneuvering awkward at corners. I decided to go back to the other brand ( a slightly smaller unit in stock), and just cut the lawn and super happy. ... show more
