This really helped water the flowering shrubs in our woodsy yard during a long dry spell. There was a lot of ground to cover. I like how you can adjust the height and angle. The only negative is that it did come unscrewed from the hose about three times randomly. It wasn't broken, just came undone. Still, overall it did what I expected and didn't cost a bunch. This item is particularly impressive. In a market unimpressive this actually is noteworthy. The key to the sprinkler revolving is related to the amount of water pressure driving it. If you put your hose through a pressure reducer, as for a soak hose, the sprinkler will not recycle. And if you read the accompanying instructions it is so stated. Very good! ... show more

I bought two of these to water my pastures and my garden. I was initially excited about the distance these sprinklers could shoot! But after a week or so of use I noticed that on one of the sprinklers was missing the distance adjuster which for where I was using it was not really an issue so I just let it slide thinking it was not worth the hassle of trying to exchange. Boy was I wrong. It seemed like right after amazons return time limit ended the other sprinklers distance adjuster fell off as well. Then I noticed one of the sprinklers was not making a full 360 and was getting stuck as it was rotating. I tried to play with it to see if it was clogged, and didn’t see anything that would impact its ability to spin. Neither forward or backwards was working. About a week later the same thing happened to the other sprinkler. I think the spring that is supposed to help propel the sprinkler forward is pretty thin and cheap. But now I have two sprinklers that do not spin and I can’t adjust the distance. Pretty disappointed in this purchase. Please save your money and buy a different sprinkler. ... show more

Great stand but the brass sprinkler is just OK. The connection from hose to stand leaks with the tape. Maybe it's because of the quick disconnect that came from the same company when ordering... with supplied tape.

We have about two acres of lawn (out of our five acre property) and so we have 12-14 of these sprinklers that run basically every other day for 60-90 minutes. These sprinklers are so dependable, last for years and just keep working so if and when I have one that finally gives out (or if "someone" accidentally hits one with the riding mower and breaks a leg off) - I always buy more. They're easily moved around, they fold up for winter storage and take very little maintenance. I occasionally spray a little WD-40 on the mechanism to keep it working smoothly and have on occasional used a bit of white lithium grease when they start to get slowed down by the heavy minerals (calcium, lime, iron) that is in our well water. I do have some of these sprinklers that have been working for probably 8-10 years. I'm sold on them. ... show more
