It works perfect for what it’s meant for. Moping the floor while picking up dirt and most other debris. I have no pets and four kids(two girls with long hair). Its main weakness is scrambled eggs, jello, and other foods with that consistency. Juice spills absolutely no problem. Cereal has worked every time also. It gets all the long human hair so should work for short pet hair. They tell you to use like a lot of floor cleaner. Do not use there recommended amount. I use 1/2 to 1/4 of what they say to use. Also make sure you hit the clean roller button once you put it back on the base. It drys out the roll and cleans all the parts. If I could improve this product, instead of the base for charging I would make a swappable battery. My house is 1500 square feet with about 800 being tile. Going over it once is about -30% battery life on full power. If I had more tile surface area I would just use half speed and mop every day. Also to note for those with a steam mop, this is not as powerful as the steam mop but!!!! Sometimes with the steam mop there is too much dirt and you just push dirt around. Use this before you steam mop and your floors will never ever have looked cleaner. This thing getting all the dirt and sticky off then coming back with steam mop is the best thing ever. ... show more

I had some hesitations in ordering this, specifically that it was cordless. I worried about running time and if it would be enough. Our entire first floor and two of our upstairs rooms are done in vinyl plank. Well, it does it all just fine! No problems whatsoever ever with that, and not in any other aspect either. This thing does a wonderful job cleaning the floors, and when its done we set it on the dock, hit a button and it cleans the brush!!! The only thing I wish were different would be the dirty water reservoir. Honestly, though, it's wonderfully functional and easy to work with, it's more that my hands are so big that getting in there for a deep clean can be difficult. Even with that, this is a 5 star purchase and my wife and I agree that it's silly how much we have loved using it! ... show more

I was trying to decide between this vacuum and a tineco; eventually settled on this due to reviews and the water tank capacity. The regular vacuum feature on this is fantastic, it picked so much up that our other vacuum doesn't! The first time I used the mop feature, it didn't seem like much was happening because the floor didn't look super wet. But as soon as I finished it was obvious how much cleaner my floors looked and it just smelled fresher in the house. I also noticed a few little sauce stains in the kitchen come up as I was going, so it definitely makes a difference. The water tank empties sooner than the battery, which I view as a positive. It takes about one water tank to do most of my hardwood floors and then I can finish up the rugs or areas I don't need to mop that round with the dry vacuum. From full charge, this whole routine will take about 60% of the battery. The water tank is also very easy to fill so if I wanted to do every single hardwood surface at once, it wouldn't be any trouble to refill. I noticed a lot of reviews complaining about the self clean feature not being enough to clean the whole machine. That feature is almost exclusively for the roll brush and anything that gets caught between pickup and the dirty tank, it's very effective for that; I run that feature and then can just set the brush into the stand to dry without having to do any additional cleaning. After that, I just rinse everything else out (brush cover, both water tanks, filters) and leave them out to dry. You don't have to scrub or do anything crazy, but you do need to pull those parts out to dry. I don't find this any more inconvenient than what you have to do after using a regular mop or similar device. A couple more things - this is advertised as being good for area rugs; I would disagree due to the nature of the roll brush and won't be using it on my rugs. Also, I would not say this is a substitute for fully mopping/cleaning your floors. It's wonderful for daily cleaning and keeping a fresh house, but it doesn't get all the way to the floorboards and obviously you can't do any scrubbing with the machine, so I will still be doing an "actual" floor cleaning every few weeks. Overall I would recommend this and find it very useful. We don't have pets or kids, so I can only imagine it would be even more helpful for those that do! ... show more

I bought this wet dry vac primarily to clean my kitchen floors after my grand children have been here. For that purpose it works great! But I was also eager to try it out on my regular weekly cleaning. We live in a 1400 square foot ranch. All the floors are laminate or vinyl. I’m not sure of the continuous run time but with the battery fully charged I was able to clean 1 of 3 bedrooms, the bath, living room, kitchen and laundry. I intentionally let 2 bedrooms undone in case the battery didn’t hold that long. It didn’t. In doing all the above cleaning I needed 2.5 tanks of water. I have long hair that falls out frequently. The vacuum got a good bit of hair but my regular vacuum gets more off our area rug. I was impressed that it didn’t tangle up on the mop head like it does in the vacuum brush. The wet function is pretty good. Although if you have spots of sticky dirt you may want to hit them with a rag as you go. It cleaned most spots with a few extra passes but one spot needed help. I also expected that it wouldn’t get edges since there was a $100+ up charge for that feature. You will still need to use a mop for areas that you want to get under such as a sofa or bed and around toilets etc. but overall for a quick general weekly cleaning I’m happy with the purchase. I’ll just do a once a month deep clean the old fashion way. Additional pros: The charging cord is approximately 48” (guesstimated). This is a plus since my wall/storage space is limited and not conveniently close to an outlet. The instructions are very easy to follow and are thorough in the descriptions. The unit is extremely easy to disassemble for proper cleaning. The indicator symbols make sense and and a alert is given to draw your attention to the problem. ... show more
