I was hesitant to purchase this floor buffer after reading a couple of reviews (particularly one saying the buffer didn’t actually rotate but only vibrated and one saying it was too heavy). It in fact DOES rotate and I’m a 70 year old woman that managed its size and weight easily. It is probably about 30 pounds and was heavy enough to do a great job. I used it to refinish my old, tired concrete floors and was thrilled with the outcome. I first used the scrub pad to clean the floors with a concrete cleaner then used the soft mopping pad to remove the cleaning residue. I washed the mopping pad in the washing machine. Then used that pad again with a gloss finish concrete sealer. I couldn’t find one contractor that could get to the job in a reasonable time. I’m saved literally thousands of dollars and could not be happier with the results. I now use it weekly to mop my floors both in the house and monthly on our finished garage floors.     • Good for the price, not wonderful.
I love the buffing feature. The ability to cleaning really old stains..so-so. The disappointment was with sanding. Although it was advertised in several places as a sander, there were no instructions other than using the scrubbing pad. Thru trial and error and wasting money, I finally found a solution; 13" stick on sanding disk which worked pretty good. It was easy to maneuver, but being a 61 year old lady I can't call it light weight! I struggled to get it around when it was not engaged. Also, I found it a little difficult to release the handle with my foot while also pulling it down into "ON" position without turning it over. Only because we have decks and such to clean, I keeping it...otherwise I would have rented a machine to sand my floor. ... show more

    • Tough little machine
I didn't want to go "cheap" on a machine like this. The small compact nature of this machine makes it very easy to use and did a wonderful job. We have tile throughout our entire house and it was a breeze to move from room to room using this.

We have a production facility that we have grey epoxy floors. They have been gradually getting black specs since the floor isn’t super smooth so we got this to help see if it would clean it before turning to a professional company. This product is the BEST, it ate up all the black marks and made our epoxy floors look like they were brand new! I would highly recommend this product to anyone who has a commercial business with a lot of foot traffic or even someone with a large home.     • Needs more complete instructions
We purchased the Prolux floor buffer to refinish the concrete floors in our house. The machine worked well, so no complaints there. The instructions however, though humorously written, didn’t contain enough information on the actual use of the buffer, specifics on how to use it for various applications. The other thing we found very frustrating is that the pad holder doesn’t actually connect to the machine. Because of this, every time you tilt the buffer on to its wheels to move it, the pad and pad holder fall off. Other than those two things, we found the buffer to be a good investment. ... show more

had high hopes with this machine. amazon must be mixing reviews with other machines by same company. this machine had high ratings but can't see how. 1. pad holder and brush does not stay on unit 2. does not spin all it does is vibrate. very disappointed. have requested a refund but still waiting on response from amazon. buyer beware. ... show more
