Nicely finished metal stand, smooth edges, tight connections/fittings. Very easy to assemble, no issues at all. Perfect fit for Dyson V8, the machine snaps solidly into place and starts charging immediately. The stand does not wobble and does not lean forward due to the weight of the vacuum, unlike other stands. Well worth the price. The only suggestion for improvement would be four metal accessory tabs/holders instead of plastic. ... show more

    • My Dyson V7 needed a home
My house is very small and wall space is at a premium. I originally wall-mounted my V7, but decided shelves in that space were a priority. After that, I kept moving it around, to get it out of the way. So I got this standing dock, and I'm really pleased I did. If not for arthritic hands, it was fairly easy to assemble (I'm 70, so lots of dropped tiny bolts!). Took me about 25 minutes... parts lined up well and tightened nice and snug. Others have problems with the assembly instructions, but really there aren't many parts to go too far wrong. Sleek design and sturdy. Worth the price. ... show more

Sturdy metal stand. Lousy instructions for attaching the base and the stop. Took me a while to decipher the poor image. More like a cave painting than clear instructions! Includes two 25mm long M5-0.8 machine screws to mount the Dyson charging station. They are too long! I had to go to Ace Hardware and purchase two 20mm long screws. The included ones bottomed out in the channel. If the channel had holes in the back there wouldn't have been a problem. With no place for the excess length to go they bottomed out against the channel in the back of the stand. Additionally, the stand includes only two plastic pieces which snap into the channel to hold the charging cord. It would be nice if there were three or two long pieces that cover more of the channel. ... show more

    • Exactly what a vacuum stand should be
I'm using the stand with a Dyson V12. The stand has a sturdy foot in metal, heavy enough to not make it wobble too much when mounting the vacuum. The stem is made of aluminum, the pins out of plastic. The stand has enough room to orderly store all the different attachments.     • Older V6 attachments don't fit on attachment tree
This is a really great and sturdy unit and easy to assemble. I like that the vaccum foot is off the ground when placing on the stand. I had purchased another unit that wasn't tall enough and the foot would contact the base when trying to attach the vacuum to it and it wouldn't go down far enough to seat in the base and was annoying. My V6 attachments would not fit over the attachment tree stubs on the unit because they were wider than the V6 accessories vacuum attachments diameters, which are narrower than the V8 and up Dyson versions. I have the V10 also and the accessory attachments diameters are larger and fit on the stand well. ... show more

    • Pricey but recommend!
I really appreciate that this device neatly stores my V10 and all the accessories. It is a bit more expensive than others but it is relatively sturdy and generally aesthetically pleasing. It was simple to put together though one must use caution when tightening the main frame pieces together. I can see someone over-tightening and stripping the screw holes. The base is heavy enough to allow me to lift the main vacuum unit off the mount without moving. Looking at it from the side does show minimal lean forward but I mean minimal. I did not have trouble putting accessory attachments on the pegs. No modifications were necessary to put tools on those storage pegs. This is very much just my visual preference but I wish the pegs for the attachments had a rounded edge so it looked more smooth and like the pegs were meant to be there rather than looking like a bit of an afterthought with the hard square edges. This in no way affects the function of the pegs, I’m just picky. I highly recommend this stand for anyone with a compatible Dyson! ... show more
